Cliche Movie

After a few days, it was the day of the game. It was going to start at 10 am. Diane and Elizabeth decided to meet at school. Since the game was held at their gymnasium. 

"Where is she?" Diane wondered, checking the time. 9:41. 

"Hey, is she here?" Meliodas asked, poking her side. Diane looked back and sighed, "Not yet, i'm not sure where she is, and she isn't replying to any of my texts."

"She didn't reply to mine yet, either." Meliodas sighed, putting his phone in his pocket. Diane gave him a sad look, "Don't worry, she'll come through."

Meliodas nodded and headed to the lockers. He was really excited about Elizabeth watching a game of basketball for the first time and he was playing. 

But right now, he just felt sad. He hadn't seen Elizabeth all day, no texts, nothing. He suddenly felt unmotivated to play. 

"Hey~ You good Cap'n?" Ban asked, walking towards him. "Sure?" Meliodas replied, sitting on one of the benches. 

"This is unusual, this is before a game, what's up?~" Ban asked, sitting next to him. Meliodas shrugged, "Is Elaine out there?'

Ban rose his brow as he nodded, "Yeah~ with Diane, I think." Meliodas just sighed and nodded. "Is Elizabeth here?~" 

He didn't reply and Ban understood immediately. "Maybe she woke up late, I don't think she's the type of person to just drop it~" 

"That's true." Meliodas nodded, Ban stood up. "C'mon, we have to win today's game~" 

King entered the locker room, "Captain, let's go." Meliodas stood up and walked behind Ban, he left his phone in his locker and they went out.

"Shit!" Elizabeth cursed as she rushed all over at home. She woke up at 9:30 and she was supposed to be there at that very time. 

"Why did I think it was a good idea to stay up all night?" She asked herself as she ran out of the bathroom and immediately wore a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt. 

She decided to tie her wet hair into a bun without combing it and took her wallet and phone and shoved it in her pockets and ran out of the house. 

As she ran, she looked at the time, it was already 9:50. She had no idea why she thought that somehow she would get there in time. 

It had already turned 10 and she was still half way there. She felt bad as she knew that Meliodas wanted her to be there and she couldn't even make it in time. 

When she got to the school, she was tired but she still had to make it to the gym. After darting to the gym, she had reached the end of the 2nd quarter. Where the players were having a 15 minute break. 

She took a deep breath and collected herself, she looked at the scores and it had seemed like the Renards  were behind by 15 points.

Elizabeth, out of instinct, looked for Meliodas. Her eyes landed on the school's team, but she couldn't find the blond. She looked around but still couldn't find Meliodas. 

She however, saw Ban and King standing near the doors of the locker room. She suddenly had a rush of guilt pass through her and she had no idea why. Her legs moved on its own and before she knew it, she was behind Ban. 

"B-ban!" She exclaimed, loud enough for him to hear over the loud people in the gym. 

The pale-blue haired male turned around and gave her a look of surprise, "You made it."
