Le dîner

Once the five of them got to Le dîner, they went to a table that occupied all of them. One of the waiters gave them the menu and they all proceeded to order.

While they waited, Ban decided to start small talk. "So, what now?~" 

"Are you gonna watch the game this Saturday?" Meliodas asked, Diane nodded. "Dragged her along with me this time." 

"She's never seen a game." Diane pointed out, making the three boys look at her in disbelief. "You what?" 

Elizabeth shrugged, "Always been at home just being a cocoon."

Ban put his hand on her head, "You, my dear, need to go out more~" 

"That's why I set her up on a blind date." Diane told Ban, making him nod with an impressed expression. "Good idea matching her up with the Cap'n~"

"Oh, no I didn't." Diane chuckled, making him confused. "She was supposed to go out with Howzer." 

Ban was about to say something but closed his mouth and glanced at Meliodas, who just stared at Diane with disbelief. "Why Howzer?~" 

"He's always had a crush on her for a long time, I thought that maybe something would happen." Diane shrugged, "why?" 

Ban shook his head, "Nothing, just dislike the guy. Hella annoying~" 

"It's a good thing you sat in front of me." Meliodas chuckled, poking Elizabeth. She was confused as Diane was, "Why?" 

Meliodas shook his head, "Then we wouldn't be hanging out right now." She nodded, "that's true." But Elizabeth felt like Meliodas was hiding something, but she still had no right to ask him any potentially deep questions.

 "Your orders." Two waiters carefully put their orders on the table, Ban thanked them and everyone proceeded to eat. 

"But guys, I have a question." Elizabeth said, whilst munching on her fries. The other four looked at her, "Who's Howzer?"

Diane face palmed, "Of course she had no idea." Ban just laughed, "I like her~"

"Howzer's another 12th grader, but in a different section as them." Diane explained. "He's from Puissance."  

"Our section doesn't like them, if you didn't notice by now." King chuckled, "Why? what's with the rivalry?" Elizabeth asked, confused. Diane was also interested, as she only knew him because they met at a party Diane attended once.

"All brawn no brains~" Ban shrugged, "Total asshole." King added. "Ass kisser." Meliodas rolled his eyes. 

"Oh, the negative things you guys can think of." Diane commented, "and a whole lot of ass." Elizabeth added, making them laugh.

"It really is a good thing you didn't end up going on a date with him~" Ban told her. "Sorry I almost set you up with an ass." Diane apologized. 

"It's fine, I didn't even end up having a date with him." Elizabeth chuckled.

"That's true, at least you won't play  League all day." Diane shrugged, Ban's eyes went wide. "You play League?" 

Elizabeth nodded, "she told you?" Ban looked at Meliodas, who nodded. "Not bad~" Ban tapped Meliodas' shoulder. 

"Also a book worm." Elizabeth added, "Okay, what are you not a mix of?" King asked, she shrugged. "Sports. Explains me not watching a single game of basketball." 

Meliodas furrowed his brows, "you wanna try?" 

"Basketball? Oh, no. My body is built for being a couch potato or being a in a blanket burrito." Elizabeth shook her head. 

Meliodas laughed, "No, I mean other sports? Wanna try them? We can help." 

"Don't you guys just play basketball?" Elizabeth tilted her head in confusion, "I mean I know Diane plays volleyball and only volleyball." 

"Yeah, I've tried making her play. Her arms turned blue after 5 serves." Diane sighed, Elizabeth shrugged in response. "But, it's because i'm too lazy to learn another sport." 

"I don't just play basketball, my height has it's perks~" Ban chuckled. "And King and I's heights aren't just for basketball." Meliodas joked. 

"We can help if you're interested." King offered, Elizabeth chuckled. "I'll think about it." 

"So, after being interviewed, I know nothing of Ban and King." Elizabeth gave all of them looks. "Oh, that's right. Sorry, I wasn't sure if it was okay." King apologized. 

"Well, my real name is Harlequin Royale. I go by King because that's easier to say, and I get less jokes from Ban. I have a little sister, her name's Elaine. She's in 10th grade. " King rolled his eyes.

Ban snickered, "Sure~. Well, for me, I don't have an alias. It's just Ban Devoss~ And the boyfriend of his little sister~" Ban nudged his head in King's direction.

"So if i'm annoyed at him, I can't get rid of him in any way." King groaned, making Elizabeth laugh. 

 "We play League, too. But not like this guy~" Ban pat Meliodas' back, "He's a platinum~" 

Elizabeth only nodded, "cool." 

The three boys rose their brows at her reaction, however Diane, she snickered. "You have no idea how devoted she is." 

"Diamond." 

They simply stared at Elizabeth, who shrugged. "I have a lot of free time, why do you think I didn't know you guys existed except King?" 

Ban and Meliodas proceeded to touch their chests, faking to be hurt. "H-how could you." Meliodas fake cried. 

"I mean, in a sense of him being a popular kid, how can you?~" Ban backed him up, Elizabeth shrugged. "I just didn't mind a lot of things." 

"Well, isn't that better than a blind fan girl?" Diane asked, Meliodas nodded. "That's true." 

After eating, they all fixed their things and decided to head home. The boys were tired, and the girls had homework to work on. 

"You have no work today?" Elizabeth asked Meliodas, he nodded. "I took a few days off for the game." 

An intersection came upon them for them to separate. Ban, King and Diane were in the same way, while Meliodas and Elizabeth had separate ways. 

They said their goodbyes and headed home, but while Elizabeth was walking, she noticed that Meliodas never left her side. 

"Hey, don't you need rest?" Elizabeth asked, Meliodas nodded. "I do, but i'm already here. I'm taking you home." He grinned, making her smile. 

"Don't you need to cook for your little brother or something?" She asked, he nodded again. "But he can wait, besides, he watches Netflix before anything else." Meliodas shrugged. 

"Just making sure, I wouldn't want you to stretch your time for me. I don't want to be a nuisance." Elizabeth told him,  he shook his head chuckling. "It's fine, I have my priorities intact." 

Elizabeth, once again did not process in her head what he said. She just let it be until they got to the gates. "Thank you, for the third time you've taken me home." 

"Anytime. Bye, Elizabeth." He waved as Elizabeth entered, and as usual, he waited for her to enter her house before leaving.
