When Elizabeth got home, she saw that Veronica was making dinner. So, she headed to her room and changed her clothes and went to help her sister.
"Did you know about mom and Margaret?" Elizabeth asked, making Veronica look at her. "What?"
"Diane and I saw them at the mall." Her answer made Veronica be more confused, "No, I didn't know she was still here. Thought she flew away like usual."
Elizabeth chuckled at her sister's jab at their mother. "Well, they were together. I wonder how Margaret's gonna explain this to us."
"I'm home!" They heard Margaret announce from the living room. "Speak of the angel." Veronica shrugged as the two of them walked out the kitchen.
Margaret had two paper bags in her hand, something she's usually not holding. It's usually just her handbag. "Go change, dinner's ready." Veronica told her.
She nodded, immediately going up stairs and changing. Veronica went back to the kitchen with Elizabeth and they prepared the table.
As soon as Margaret arrived at the dining area, they all sat down and began to eat dinner. "Someone went shopping." Veronica pointed out.
Margaret paused, and looked at her sisters. "We know you were with her today." Elizabeth told her, making Margaret sigh.
"I didn't know how to tell you." She told them. "How about starting with how you guys ended up walking around the mall?" Elizabeth suggested.
"You saw us?" Margaret asked, receiving a nod from her after. "I got out of work early today and headed to the mall, we met there and she asked me to come with her."
"And you went?" Veronica questioned, making Margaret sigh. "Look, I was mad at her but I couldn't just say no to her, she looked so desperate."
Veronica crossed her arms, "That's true, you're a real softie."
"Guilty." Margaret shrugged, chuckling. "How'd it go?" Elizabeth asked.
Margaret look at her, "It was nice, we had a few adult talks about work, she wanted to hear all about it. She had me tell a lot of stories about us, she was so happy when I started talking about us."
"Happy?" Elizabeth rose her brow. Margaret nodded, "She even bought stuff for us, it's in the paper bags I was holding."
"What's in them?" Veronica asked. "Body stuff, clothes, and the like. Let's check them later."
The three of them quickly finished dinner in silence, until Margaret broke it. "You have a game tomorrow at Elizabeth's school, right?"
"Yeah, a practice game with their volleyball team." Veronica answered. "You gonna watch, Elizabeth?"
Elizabeth thought for a bit, "I'm not sure, i'll see if I can."

At lunch the next day, everyone in Elizabeth's table were talking about the practice games that was happening at their school.
"Isn't Veronica from the other school?" Diane asked Elizabeth, she nodded. "Yeah, captain ball like Meliodas in Vite High's volleyball team."
"Oh, Veronica Liones~ We were classmates with her for a year but she left after she got that scholarship." Ban told them.
"She's really good." Meliodas commented, then had an idea. "Why don't you try to play something, too?"
Elizabeth and Diane gave each other looks, "What's wrong?" King asked, noticing their reactions.
