The next day, all Elizabeth could think of was the dinner party her mom had abruptly planned.
"What am I supposed to do~" Elizabeth groaned, slumping in her seat.
"Well, it's already done. So, just go?" Diane suggested, "I mean yeah, I want them to meet Meliodas but not so soon. We're not together yet."
"Then so be it, it just ties the knot tighter." Diane shrugged, chuckling. "Wouldn't that make him feel forced to be together with me? What if after meeting my family, he has regrets?"
"You have a point-- oh, they're here." Diane told her, Elizabeth looked at the door and the three boys were waiting for them outside for lunch.

"So i'll be joining dinner with Elizabeth's family." Meliodas stated, making everyone at the table silent.
"You're doing what?~" Ban asked, not believing what he said.
Meliodas nodded, then looked at Elizabeth. "What was that about?"
"She never mentioned it to me, so i'm as confused and scared as you are." Elizabeth chuckled nervously.
Ban chuckled, "ya'll are gonna be alright~"
"How are you so sure?" Meliodas asked, Ban just laughed. "Just a hunch~"
"How about not stressing whatever will happen, we'll help you dress up." Diane suggested.
"Any dress code?" King joined in, "She told me to wear formal."
King looked at Meliodas, who immediately shook his head. "No tuxedos."
Sighing in defeat, King slumped in his seat. "Alright."
Then, the bell rang. Everyone headed back to their classrooms.
"Since we're both free in the afternoon, how 'bout we look for something you'll use in your wardrobe?" Diane asked, Elizabeth shrugged and just nodded.
Diane squealed in excitement as they entered their classroom.

After classes, Diane and Elizabeth went off to Elizabeth's house. Diane raided the pantry and the fridge before heading to Elizabeth's room.
"Alright, today, we're going to be girl stereotypes and play dress up in your room." Diane clasped her hands together and then proceeded to rummage through Elizabeth's closet.
After quite a while of looking for something formal to wear, they took out a few dresses that had potential.
Diane gave Elizabeth the signal to go in the bathroom and try on the first dress, which was a burgundy evening dress.
Elizabeth got out and Diane inspected the way it flattered her assets and if ever it looked good in general.
"I feel weird." Elizabeth told her, Diane rose her brow. "Why? It's not like you've never worn a dress."
"Yeah, but it's not that." She started to fiddle with her fingers. "Is it Meliodas?"
Elizabeth looked and Diane and slowly nodded. "How'd you know?"
"It's pretty obvious, Elizabeth." Diane chuckled, "what's wrong?"
Elizabeth went to sit next to her, "The same thing, Meliodas might be forced to be with me after he meets my family."
Diane pat her head, "Don't think of that, talk to him about it later tonight after his shift, alright?"
"But what if he'll be tired from work?" Elizabeth asked. Diane sighed, "You'll make it work, don't you guys always? You tell each other everything."
