Scary

The next day, King told Meliodas that he was gonna drag him to go look for clothes after class. Ban didn't want to join because he didn't really like shopping.

Meliodas didn't either but he was forced, he really had to go look for clothes. His closet was just filled with sweats and sweaters like Ban. Unlike King, who had clothes for any event.

"Why can't I just borrow clothes from you?" Meliodas whined at their table. They were having lunch while Meliodas and King talked about his clothes.

"You know i'm slimmer than you, right?" King asked him, Meliodas sucked in air and attempted to look slim. 

"It's not working~" Ban laughed, making Meliodas exhale and groan. "I can't walk you home today then." He looked at Elizabeth, who chuckled. 

"It's alright, Diane and I can just think of something to do." She told him, Ban got interested. "Oh~ Can I join?" 

Diane and Elizabeth looked at each other and laughed, "Never thought we'd hear the day, but of course!" 

Ban grinned, facing the other two boys devilishly. "Don't taint them with your shenanigans, Ban." King warned. 

Ban put his hand on his chest, "Me? I would never do such a thing~" 

King's eye twitched, "You're already lying. Will you girls be okay with Ban?" 

The two nodded and Meliodas chuckled, "They'll have fun with Ban." 

"Exactly, Ban's fun is running into ball pits that aren't for his age." King told him, Meliodas rose his brow, not understanding how that was alarming. 

"With kids getting crushed under him." King continued, Meliodas just laughed. "He'll tone it down, won't you?"

Ban nodded, "Yeah~" 

Meliodas turned and looked at King, who sighed. "Fine." 

"Don't make it seem like we're being babysat, King." Diane pouted, King chuckled. "Okay, sorry." 

The bell then rang, making all of them stand up and head back to class.

After classes, Ban went to pick up the two outside their room while the other two left earlier. 

"They left early." Elizabeth pointed out, Diane chuckled. "It's better that way." 

Elizabeth rose her brow, "How so?" 

"When you shop with King, it's like you're shopping with your mom~" Ban laughed, making Diane laugh with him and nod. "It's true." 

"Yikes." Elizabeth laughed, then turned to Ban. "So, where we headed?" 

Ban chuckled, "Someone's excited, you guys hungry?~" 

They looked at each other and their eyes averted to their stomachs. "We could eat." Diane shrugged, answering for the both of them. 

"Let's hop in my car and do a mukbang~" Ban gave them encouraging grins. The two girls' eyes lit up, they only saw mukbangs on YouTube and they've always wanted to try it. 

"Let's go!" The two exclaimed, pulling Ban to his own car. Ban laughed all the way to his car, he didn't expect this reaction from them. 

When they got in his car, they wrote down 3 fast food chains they wanted to buy from. They chose McDonald's, In-N-Out Burger and Wendy's. 

After a while of driving, ordering and buying, they were finally done. They stopped at one of the parking lots and prepared their food. 

"We don't have a camera though~" Ban told them. They just shrugged, "It's fine." Elizabeth replied, smiling. 

"And here I thought we were gonna go crush children in parks." Diane chuckled. "We could've, but I chose a safe route as requested from your boyfriends~"

Elizabeth and Diane laughed at him, then they all proceeded to take their food and ate. 

"So, Diane~" Ban started, Diane looked at him with a brow raised. "How's it going dating King~" 

"It' great! You know, normal relationship stuff, we get into fights and them we make up. The usual." Diane shrugged, "You and Elaine?" 

"Sometimes when I get pissed at King, I'm thankful that they don't look alike~" Ban told them, making them laugh. 

Ban glanced at Elizabeth-- who stole the front seat from Diane. "We can't really ask you much, but what do you think will happen at that dinner?~" 

Elizabeth looked at Ban, munching on her fries. "I literally have no idea."

"They're having a mukbang." King told Meliodas, while the blond boy was in one of the fitting rooms. They're already tried 6 polos within an hour, that doesn't even count the time they walked around.

Meliodas got out in a white polo with patterns. "I wanna join the mukbang~" He whined. 

King chuckled, "You can do that next time. Now try this on, you look like you're going to the Bahamas." 

Meliodas groaned, taking the maroon polo from King's hand. "I'm helping you." King smirked. 

"I know~" Meliodas sighed, locking the door. The two of them were suddenly silent, King was scrolling through his phone and Meliodas was slowly taking off the polo. 

"Hey, King." Meliodas called. "Hmm? Is there a problem?" 

"Not really, I just have a question.", "And that is?" 

"Why do you like shopping and getting clothes so much?" Meliodas asked, King put his phone in his pocket. 

"No one really helped Elaine and I with our clothes and the way we should wear, since our parents were rarely home." King told him, "Is that weird?"

Meliodas remembered that King and Elaine's parent's were always busy and never had time for them, making him regret his question. "No, it's totally fine." 

He decided to change the topic, "Diane's your first, right?"

 King blushed, Meliodas noticed him get silent and chuckled. "Not that way." 

 "I-I wasn't thinking of anything!" King exclaimed, "b-but yeah, my first girlfriend. Why?" 

"How'd it feel like? You know, being with someone officially." Meliodas asked. King smiled a little, "It's scary." 

Meliodas chuckled, "That's reassuring." King chuckled, "That's not what I mean." 

"It's scary, because sometimes, you won't know what to do if your girlfriend will act some sort of way. It's scary when you did something wrong but don't know what, they're scary." King laughed. 

"Once again, reassuring." Meliodas replied sarcastically. "It's scary to think that you'll lose them any day." 

Meliodas didn't say anything back this time. "It's like, they'll be someone important to you and it's scary when they'll disappear." 

"But every time, somehow, they'll show you that your worries are just worries and they'll prove to you that they aren't going anywhere." King chuckled, "Insecurities and all." 

"It's lovely. You get to be happy with a person that you see more than a friend. There will be struggles but the two of you will work together to face them." Then, the door opened. 

Meliodas went out of the fitting room with a plain maroon polo with the slacks that he had already been wearing. "Is this good?" 

King nodded, "It's classy." 

Meliodas sighed in relief, then looking at all his other options. His eye twitched, then turned to King. "I tried all of those and ended up with a plain one?" 

King shrugged, "It was fun watching you suffer, for once."
