As Meliodas continued on his shift, he debated whether or not to tell Elizabeth.

But his thoughts were disrupted when Jenna decided to nudge his arm. "What is it?"

"You do know your girlfriend is here, right?" She asked, making Meliodas scan the whole cafe to look for Elizabeth.

She was right, he saw her. He wondered if Elizabeth saw everything that had happened. That way, he'd have no choice but to tell her.

"Oh, seems like they're leaving." Jenna stated as the both of them stared at the two girls standing up and getting their things.

Meliodas watched as Elizabeth was holding the payment for their orders with a suspicious look on her face.

She saw.

When she went to pay, she was quiet. She just gave him a look as Meliodas slowly took the money from her hand.

"Call me when you get home." She simply told him, making him nod immediately. "Yes, ma'am."

Elizabeth proceeded to leave, Diane walked past him and quickly said something. "Don't lie to her."

And with that, she left to catch up with Elizabeth.

"You're in deep shit." Jenna pointed out, Meliodas sighed. "Like I didn't know that, Jenna."

After his shift and once he had gotten home, he immediately went up his room and dialed Elizabeth's number. When she picked up, the both of them were silent.

Until she broke it, "What did she tell you?"

"Okay, please calm down." He told her, he didn't want to experience Elizabeth being mad over the phone.

Elizabeth sighed, "What happened back there?"

"She saw us yesterday, when I walked you home. She told me she wanted to talk to me.", "Why would she need to talk to you?"

"Because i'm courting you." He answered, making Elizabeth pause. "I don't think it's a good idea to be talking to my mother."

"Elizabeth," Meliodas started, causing her keep quiet. "Trust me, it'll be fine. I'll tell you everything after, okay?"

Elizabeth didn't trust her mother, but she trusted Meliodas. She didn't know what her mom's intention was, but she hoped that it was just a harmless talk.

She sighed, "Alright, when will you be meeting?"

"Tomorrow in the afternoon, in the cafe. I'm hoping you and Diane won't do anything?" He told her, making her groan.

"Really? No spying?" Meliodas chuckled, "Yes, no spying on us, alright?"

Elizabeth just groaned, "Promise me you won't, c'mon trust me on this."

"Fine." She gave in, making Meliodas smile. "That's good, now go to sleep."

After classes the next day, Meliodas headed to the cafe. He wasn't sure if he was ready or if he knew what to do.

He will never admit it, but he was really nervous. If Elizabeth's mother ends up not liking him, he would never forgive himself

Once Meliodas got to the cafe, he looked around and didn't see Caroline anywhere. So, he took a seat and waited for her.

Meliodas saw Jenna peeping from the counter, giving him a grin and a thumbs up. He just chuckled and looked out the door.

After a few minutes of waiting, he saw Caroline enter. She looked around and spotted the blond and headed his way.
