The next day, Meliodas groggily woke up. He didn't have an alarm, most of the time he just trusted his body to wake up at a reasonable time.

Today wasn't any of those days. He woke up at 9 am.

"Ah, great." He groaned, looking at his phone. His classes started at 9, and he just woke up. Meliodas then sat up and thought deeply about whether or not to go to class.

He looked at his desk and sighed, "I did all that homework for nothing? Yeah, I'm going to school." Meliodas got off his bed and fixed his bag before going down stairs to go get breakfast.

Meliodas poured himself a bowl of cereal and ate it rather quickly, he was hoping to get to school by second period.

After he ate, he immediately headed to his room and within 20 minutes, he was ready. Meliodas checked his phone and he had 30 minutes left. He locked the house and darted to school.

Ban stared at the door, waiting for Meliodas to enter. "It's second period, I don't think he'll go to class." King told him, Ban shrugged. "True~"

"Besides, what do you think of Elizabeth?" King asked. Ban rose his brow, "What about her~"

"Do you think she'll be a good influence on Meliodas?"

Ban gave him a look and shrugged, "Not sure yet, there hasn't been any huge changes recently~"

"I think we just got a sign." King chuckled, seeing as Meliodas just entered the classroom. Ban looked at the door with a smirk, "Well~"

Meliodas walked to his seat and plopped his bag on his chair and went to Ban and King, "Heya."

"Morning to you too, Cap'n~" Ban laughed, patting Meliodas' back. "What?"

"That's a surprise, you're in second period." King chuckled, grabbing a seat. "Why is that a surprise? I'm a student too." Meliodas replied.

"You know that's not what we mean~" Ban grinned, making Meliodas chuckle. "I have homework to pass that I actually worked on last night, I didn't want to rush things this morning."

"That's.." King trailed off, "good~" Ban finished, making Meliodas shrug and go back to his seat once a new teacher came in.

"She's a good influence.", "She's a good influence~"

Elizabeth stared at her phone during second period, since there wasn't much to do and she had just finished her activity for the subject.

She stared at Meliodas and her's conversation from the night before, she didn't know whether or not to tell him good morning or to just wait for him to text her first.

Let's just say she didn't want to seem clingy and just let that be.

"Hey, what're you staring at? you seem so interested in your screen." Diane pointed out, making Elizabeth realize that her phone had already turned off while she was spacing out.

"Oh, it's nothing." She chuckled, "How's the wound situation?" Diane asked, Elizabeth gave her a smile. "Feeling all better now, thanks."

"How were you and Meliodas? You didn't message me anything about it." Diane told her, "Oh, nothing much really happened, I just happened to approve of a second date?"

Diane's eyes went wide, "You did what?!" She whisper screamed. Elizabeth nodded excitedly. "That's great!"

"Anything else?" Diane asked, "And he's a barista at Amour et café, I went to get coffee yesterday."

Diane's facial expression went from excited to confused. "You didn't know?"

"I mean, I told you I never met him all my life." Elizabeth shrugged, Diane face palmed. "Of course, you didn't. He made our drinks a lot."

"Okay, I missed that bullet." Elizabeth laughed nervously, Diane sighed. "Many, many bullets."

"Well now it's nice to know more about the guy i'm seeing." Elizabeth gave Diane a smile, she just rolled her eyes. "Sure, Elizabeth."

The bell rang, indicating that it was lunch.

"You won't mope in despair this time?' Diane asked as she stood up. Elizabeth laughed, standing up. "Nope, not today."

They then left the classroom and went to the cafeteria. "Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. What was that about?"

"Oh, I was just an embodiment of embarrassment, that's all." Elizabeth chuckled as she picked what she wanted to eat.

Diane furrowed her brows, "Somehow, that doesn't sound weird."

"What doesn't sound weird?" Someone said behind her. Diane looked back and saw King, she smiled as she saw him. "King!"

Elizabeth looked back and saw King, she waved at him. However her attention was suddenly taken by a blond boy with big emerald eyes. "Hey, Elizabeth." Meliodas waved.

She waved back and faced the food again, suddenly feeling flustered. "What're you getting today?" Meliodas suddenly asked next to her.

Elizabeth was a bit startled, but answered. "I don't know, a sandwich or pasta?"

"How about chimken~" Meliodas joked, Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "Very funny, Meliodas."

Meliodas laughed, then proceeded to  order something. Elizabeth did the same after a short while, picking out pasta from the menu.

Once they got their orders, they saw that their friends were waiting for them at the canteen doors, food in hand.

Back in the classroom, Elizabeth and Diane were eating quietly until Diane broke the silence. "You guys looked like a cute couple back there."

Elizabeth almost choked on her pasta, "W-What?"

"You heard what I said." Diane laughed, making Elizabeth blush. "That was nothing."

"Yeah, sure." Diane rolled her eyes. "I see how you look at him, Liones."

"What? I look at everyone like that." Elizabeth defended, Diane sensed this and laughed. "No need to get defensive, Elizabeth."

Diane stabbed her food with a smirk, "You look at him different. You're starting to really like him, don't you?"

"We've only met for a few days, I don't know anything about him so." Elizabeth explained.

"That's what the second date is for!" Diane exclaimed, "You're a bit more excited for the date than me." Elizabeth laughed.

"Hey, I never thought I'd ever see you date anyone or even look at someone as if they meant so much to you. This is special." Diane explained, "I'm just really happy for you."
