The next day, Meliodas and the other two were surprised to enter their classroom. Seeing as the board was suddenly filled with requirements and all kinds of homework to be done for the week.

"We're having those hell weeks again?~" Ban groaned, rubbing his neck in annoyance. The other two sighed, "Guess we are." King nodded, heading to his chair.

"Great, i'll tell Elaine I'm gonna be busy~" Ban then headed to his own chair with his phone in his hand.

Since they were graduating soon, there were times where the teachers would randomly give them hell weeks without any type of warning.

This week was one of them.

Lunch came around and the boys went to the girls' classroom as usual and headed to the cafeteria, but with frowns on their faces. "What's wrong?" Elizabeth asked them.

"We have another hell week ahead of us." King answered, causing Diane to frown with them. Elizabeth rose her brow, "Hell week?"

"It's something the teachers make us go through~ they go real hard with the torture~" Ban groaned, slumping in his seat.

"It would usually be the time of the month that Meliodas would be cramming his ass off." King added, chuckling. Elizabeth faced Meliodas, who was smiling at her.

"Well guess who's not cramming anymore." Meliodas laughed. Elizabeth gave him a smile, "That's good."

"But there's a problem, I won't be able to take you home for the whole week." Meliodas told her, taking her aback with the sudden information. "O-oh." Was all she could say.

"It's okay! I'm sure there's so much you have to do, I'll be alright. Wont we, Diane?" Elizabeth turned to her, Diane nodded with a smile.

"We might just eat in our classroom for lunch, though~" Ban told them. The two shrugged, "Not like we've never done that."

"Do your best on the hell week." Elizabeth told Meliodas, putting her hand on his head. Meliodas smiled brightly, "Of course!"

"You too, if you need anything, just give me a call." Diane ruffled Kings hair, causing him to chuckle. "I'll keep that in mind."

Ban groaned as they encouraged each other, "Ya'll're making me miss Elaine~"

"You'll see her this afternoon, don't worry." King told him, "I feel like a huge 5th wheeler here~"

"You're finally feeling what I feel every time you guys are out with your girlfriends." Meliodas laughed, "What ever, Britney~"

Meliodas ended up pouting and Elizabeth had to comfort him. "I'll still be able to walk you home this afternoon, though."

Elizabeth nodded, "I'll be waiting then."

After classes, Diane and Elizabeth waited outside their room. As soon as they were visible from the stairs, the girls could tell that they were already tired from their afternoon periods.

"Are you guys okay?" Diane asked. "We have 3 different types of homework given today and we have to pass them the day after tomorrow~" Ban answered.

"We should get going, then?" Elizabeth told them, to which they agreed and headed on to their separate ways.

"You don't have to walk me home today if you're starting to get busy." Elizabeth told Meliodas while they walked. Meliodas shook his head, "It's okay, I used to cram a lot. I'm used to this."

Even though Elizabeth knew that it wasn't okay, she couldn't say anything to change his mind. "How was your day?" Elizabeth tried to start a conversation while they walked.

"Like Ban said, we have homework. The teachers are harder on us too, every time this happens." Meliodas told her, making Elizabeth frown.

"Tell me when you need anything, okay?" Elizabeth told him, concerned for the boy. Meliodas gave her a smile, "I will, thanks."

"So it's like I won't see you for almost a week?" Elizabeth asked him, he nodded. "But i'll still try to talk to you and update you when I can."

Elizabeth found this sweet, "Don't push yourself too hard, okay?'

Meliodas chuckled, "I make no promises." She lightly smacked his arm, "Meliodas."

"Alright, Alright, I'll try."

The two stopped walking once they got to Elizabeth's house. "See you tomorrow?" Elizabeth asked, "Yeah?"

The two laughed and gave each other a hug. "Good luck." Elizabeth told him, before entering the gate.

Meliodas waited for her to enter her house with a smile, once she was in, he then left.

The next day, Elizabeth and Diane were talking about a new shop just opened up at the mall. While they were absorbed in their conversation, Diane's phone disturbed them.

"Oh, it's King. Give me a sec." Diane told her as she replied to his text. Elizabeth checked her phone and saw that the last message that Meliodas had texted her was a good morning.

Elizabeth sighed, waving away he fact that she was feeling a bit down. But she had to understand that Meliodas was busy and had things to do. She wasn't going to be the reason for him to get distracted.

"Okay, done. Where were we?" Diane asked, "What did King say?"

"Oh, he just told me that he was in class and couldn't talk to me all day because well, hell week." Diane shrugged. "Oh, okay." Elizabeth nodded.

"Why? Did Meliodas tell you anything?" Diane asked, looking over to Elizabeth's phone. "He did, a good morning."

"Oh, that's fine. Maybe he ran late." Diane told her, trying to stop Elizabeth from thinking of other things.

The bell then rang and they both headed to their seats.

At lunch, Elizabeth had finally received a text from Meliodas.

Hey! I'm sorry I couldn't text this morning, I ran late. We're eating in the room today, hope you're okay! Text you in the afternoon :>

Elizabeth ended up smiling at his text and replied to him. When she finished, she looked up at Diane, who saw her smile. "He texted you?"

Elizabeth nodded, her smile still on her face. "Don't worry, it's just a few days. Besides, you guys have that dinner coming up."

"Oh, yeah. I still have no idea what to do about that, but hopefully everything's gonna turn out good."  Elizabeth sighed, "Are you excited to see him in formal attire?"

Diane's question made Elizabeth start thinking. She never saw him use anything formal, it excited her a bit. "I guess so."
