Elizabeth opened her messages to reveal Diane's spams. Mostly spamming her name and one  important message.

Elizabeth! Where are you? Your date had food poisoning and could't go last minute. I'm so sorry, I couldn't tell you earlier.

She started to type, replying to her.

Hey, I'm already home. I actually went on a date, but I guess it was the wrong person?

Then almost immediately, her phone started ringing. Diane was calling and she quickly answered, the first thing she heard was Diane's loud voice yelling her name.

"Elizabeth! Are you okay? You had a date with a legit stranger? How was he like? Was he suspicious? Do you have a picture of him? Let me track him down." Diane started to bombard her with questions.

Elizabeth laughed, "Calm down, one at a time. Yes, I'm fine. I did. He was nice. He wasn't suspicious. I don't have a picture of him and no, don't go FBI on him."

Diane sighed in relief, "I'm so sorry Eli, Howzer got food poisoning and started to get sick after he left his house."

"It's okay, I understand." Elizabeth told Diane, "Should I reschedule? But you'll know his name by then."

"No, it's okay. My date today was actually really nice, I literally knew nothing about him and he acted like he was my date." Elizabeth declined.

"What?" Diane asked, confused. "My new date acted like he was my actual date because I just suddenly sat in front of him and immediately talked."

"That works?" Disbelief was coated all over her question, Elizabeth laughed. "I suppose so."

"Was he cute?" Diane asked, Elizabeth suddenly blushed. "Yeah, really cute. He was shorter than me too, giving him a fun-sized vibe."

"Him being shorter than you is fine, I mean you see me and King. What else?" Diane was getting invested in their date.

"We got coffee, went to the movies  and watched 6 feet away. We even went to le dîner for sandwiches." Elizabeth briefly told her about the date, making her feel warm inside.

"le dîner?! Awe, we were supposed to go there soon. Was it nice there?" Diane asked, "Yeah! His best friend works there part time too."

"Oh, wow. What's this stranger's name?"

"Meliodas Drakon."

Diane was suddenly silent, too long for Elizabeth's comfort. "Diane?"

"You went on a date with a Drakon?!"

"Y-yes?" Elizabeth was startled by her sudden outburst, "why?"

"Oh sis, I forgot you don't care about the school's social hierarchy." She could hear Diane face palming. "Yeah, because it's just irrelevant statuses that we wont need in the future."

"Well, surprise. You snagged a date with a popular boy in school, a senior at that." Diane told her, "Wait, what?"

"Exactly. I'll tell you all about him tomorrow, I have to go. Love you!" Diane then suddenly hung up on her.

Elizabeth looked at her phone, confused. She proceeded to look through Facebook and looked up Meliodas' profile.

"3,178 friends?! Wow, he's really popular then. How was I able to not know about him?" She asked herself, she then started to think of the times she cared about the people in school except her friends and the teachers.

"Huh, explains why. I never really gave a damn." Elizabeth face palmed, "Why am I like this."

Elizabeth then stood up and went to her room to remove her make up and changed her clothes and tied her hair in a pony tail to cook dinner.

But while she made dinner, one thing was on her mind. It was Meliodas.

Was she going to give him another chance with a second date?

Could she trust him?

"I did enjoy being with him, he didn't even set off red flags even though I didn't know who he was." She told herself, trying to convince herself that she should give him a chance.

"I'm home!" Meliodas closed the door behind him as he saw the living room lights open. He waked down the short hallway in their house and saw Zeldris watching a movie.

"I ordered pizza while you were out." Zeldris told his brother, Meliodas nodded and went to the kitchen. A pizza box was sitting on the counter, he took two slices and sat next to Zeldris.

"Where'd you go all day? you don't have work today." Zeldris asked, Meliodas chuckled. "You'd be surprised to know where I've been."

"Do tell, I have nothing else to do." Zeldris turned down the movie and listened to his brother.

"I was at the cafe just minding my own business, and then a girl with silver hair just sits in front of me and asks me if I'm her date. I couldn't say anything because she was really pretty and I was confused." Meliodas started, Zeldris nodded, getting interested.

"So she's supposed to be on a blind date? since she knew nothing about you." Zeldris assumed, Meliodas nodded. "Probably-- wait, how do you know things like this?"

Zeldris shrugged, "You don't know my life, now continue."

"Long story short, I pretended to be her date and she got my number." Meliodas chuckled, making Zeldris look at him in confusion.

"Those scenarios exist?"

Meliodas shrugged, laughing. "I guess so. But she wasn't very happy when I told her that I wasn't her date, but I ended up giving her my number."

"Man, the random shit you get yourself into, what's her name?" Zeldris face palmed.

"Elizabeth Liones. She's never seen or heard of me before but  I've seen her a few times in school." Meliodas told him, Zeldris rose his brow.

"She never noticed you? How does that make sense? You're literally a popular kid at school and the captain of the basketball team." Zeldris pointed out.

"Maybe she was lying or maybe she just didn't give a damn about anything. But the date felt right, even though it was literally an accident." Meliodas smiled, making Zeldris chuckle.

"You like her?" Zeldris asked, Meliodas nodded. "I guess, maybe."

"Will she get you to go to school more then?"

Meliodas looked at Zeldris and he shrugged, "I mean I hope you do, you can't keep cramming everything bro." He then stood up and pat Meliodas' shoulder.

"I'm going upstairs, you lock up." Zeldris told him as he left the living room.

"I go to school though, in my own terms."
