Nayantara's pov
The evening had arrived, and I found myself seated in the royal garden. The sun had already dipped below the horizon, while the birds were making their way back to their nests. The remnants of sunlight still lingered in the sky. Although the evening was pleasant, I felt a sense of gloom.
It had been two days since I requested his permission to visit Somgarh, but he responded to me in a very discourteous manner. Since that moment, I have been entirely ignoring him. I did not even cast a glance in his direction, let alone engage in conversation with him.
But the result,
Nothing!
As I was ignoring him, in return he was also ignoring me. In these two days,we did not share any meals together. He would arrive late at night and depart early in the morning. Essentially, we spent the entire day avoiding one another.
I was frustrated that out of the three ways, the two had already failed, and I had no intention of testing the third way. It was beyond my league.
"Why don't you try the third way?"
Kashmira's voice bought me out of thoughts. I looked at her as I didn't heard her properly. She sighed before she came closer to me and sat beside me on the sofa.
"Why don't you try the third way?"
She asked, emphasizing the each word clearly for me to hear. I narrowed my eyes at her and said
"No! Are you out of your mind!"
She shook her head and said
"I am in my right mind, Nayantara. If you want to meet your parents then you have to do this. And what's wrong in seducing your own husband?!"
I looked at her and sighed. Talking about seducing your husband was easy but doing it was hard, very hard when I didn't know anything about seduction.
"But I don't know how to do this."
I replied, while looking down. As much as I wanted those proofs, I also wanted to meet my family.
"Okay, I'll tell you and you have to just follow it."
She said, and I looked at her bewildered.
She knew seduction?!
"What? You know seduction?"
Her eyes widened as she listened to me and shook her head continuously.
"What? No!"
She shrieked, and I looked at her with narrowed gaze.
"Really? Then how do you know about this?"
I asked, her face turned red as she gulped.
"I know this because some ladies in our kingdom used to talk about this. From then i know seduction a little bit."
She whispered in a slow voice, while fidgeting with her fingers. I bit my lips to stop myself from smiling.
"Hamein lagta hai hamse piche chupke apne bhot cheeze sikhi h."
{"I think you have learnt a lot of things behind my back."}
I said while she shook her head.
"Nahi aisa kuch bhi nahi hai."
