Nayantara's pov

I woke up hearing commotion in my chamber. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the other side of the bed to saw it empty. I furrowed my brows and saw curtains were drawn around my bed.

I sat up and moved aside the curtains getting off the bed. I looked around to saw attendees working silently. An attendee came towards me.

"Good morning princess, i am Kusum. Your one of the attendee, i have prepared your bath."

She said bowing a little bit. I nodded and greeted her back.

"Where is....uhm...he..?"

I asked a little hesitated. She smiled and replied

"Prince has gone to his sword practice early in the morning, it's his daily routine."

I nodded and went to do my morning business.

Once I finished bathing, I draped a white cloth over my body and proceeded to my dressing area to prepare for the day ahead, as it was my first day and there were so many rituals to perform.

I came inside the dressing area to see Kashmira and two other attendees picking out my things. I took the red and green lehanga which had a heavy embroidery on it, I quickly wore it and sat in front of the mirror.

Kashmira came behind me and st6art making my hair while i wore my rings and other jwelleries.

I frowned after few minutes when i noticed something weird, Kashmira was weirdly quiet today, she always gossiped with me while helping me to get ready.

I looked at her and saw her in deep thoughts.

"What happened...?"

She looked at me then again thought about something.

"Uhh....did..did you do 'it' with Anirudh last night...!!"

She wisphered as there were other ladies also. I widened my eyes and my cheeks turned red.

"Whattt NO..!!!"

I yelled, drawing the attention of other attendees.

The other two attendees looked at me weirdly. One of them was Kusum as i remembered. I told them to give us privacy and they obeyed getting out of the area.

"Don't lie Nayantara..... don't you try to hide anything from me..!"

She said while looking at me suspiciously.

"I am not lying...!! And we really didn't do anything.."

I replied looking at her in the eyes. Because it was the truth we didn't do any such thing.

"Ohh really...then what is this..?"

She asked, while removing my hairs from my neck and pointed out the dark red and purple mark. Blood rushed to my cheeks as all the flashback from last night came in front of my eyes.

"It... it's nothing yeah..... it's probably a mosquito bite as there were many mosquitos last night..!!"

I stuttered nervously.

"Ooh then the mosquito must be so big and dangerous because the mark on your neck is surely very big..!!"

I gulped and replied

"ye..yess the mosquito was very big..!!"

"I am not a fool Nayantara that i can't even make a difference between a mosquito bite and a love bite.."
