Nayantara's pov
It was early in the morning and i was in my chamber instructing the attendees about the things which were to be packed for the journey. Yes, Journey.
When i woke up in the morning i found myself alone on the bed. Anirudh was nowhere to be found. A tinge of sadness enveloped me as I had always envisioned waking up in the embrace of my husband after marriage. But, reality often diverges from our fantasies.
After i got ready, I was asked to meet Maasa. Upon arriving to meet her, I found Anirudh already present. Maasa informed us that both Anirudh and I needed to travel to a temple located quite a distance away. The journey would take nearly two days to reach the destination.
After sometime everything was done and i asked some attendees to take the luggage. I got ready and went to the meeting area where everyone were present.
When i reched there everything was already done. I and Anirudh both took blessings of maasa. She hugged us and told us to have a safe journey.
After that we all were ready to start our journey. Kashmira helped me to sit in the palanquin. She was also coming with me.
It was already night and we were continuously moving. All of us were exhausted, having only taken a brief break in the afternoon to eat something. Although I was seated, the fatigue from sitting for an extended period had also taken its toll on me.
After sometime, we saw a nice area near the river where we were going to spend the night and would continue the journey in early morning.
I stepped out of the palanquin and saw some soldiers were guarding the area, some were making the tents, some women were preparing for dinner.
My body was aching very badly so i went to the river to freshen up first.
Few minutes were already passed and i was still sitting on the stone near the river enjoying the cold breeze with closed eyes. I was thinking about my life how it had changed. I was thinking about my family, my baapu sa.
I didn't know why i was in a gloomy mood from the morning. I was missing my family very badly.
"Nayantara"
I opened my eyes and saw Kashmira coming towards me. She was smiling but when she saw me her face grew concerned.
"Are you okay..??"
She asked, while sitting beside me. I just hummed and looked straight towards the river.
She was silent for few minutes before she smiled enthusiasticly.
"You know Nayantara i have heard from some ladies that the temple where we are going is very old and an old couple take care of it. The priest is not only just a priest but he also has a great knowledge about medicine. He also teaches some disciples about medicines. He is very famous because he has saved so many lives and some people even say that there is no such disease for which he do not have a cure.!!"
She finished and looked at me, her eyes were shining. From the childhood she had a great interest in medicine. She had also gained a lot of knowledge from her mother who was a physician herself.
"Ohh really, then you can ask him for some knowledge or anything you want to as you have a great interest in medicine."
I said, and smiled at her.
"Yeahh....but.?"
I frowned and looked at her.
"He is a royal priest. And he only teaches those who have some special quality in them. Why would he teach me or give me advice, i am just a commoner..!!"
