Nayantara's pov
I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I blinked several times to know where I was. My head was feeling heavy, there was a pain coursing through my head. I tried to touch my head but couldn't as my hands were tied behind me with a rope.
For a moment I didn't know what was happening to me. My body was paining, my head was busting with a lot of pain. I closed my eyes and remembered the last moment before I lost my consciousness.
I was returning back and we were attacked on our way. I fought with attackers and at last someone put a cloth on my mouth which smelled gross and then I lost my consciousness.
I tried to sit up and look around but instantly groaned when I felt pain all over my body. After a lot of difficulty I sat on the ground and looked around to see I was in a tent and there was nothing, literally nothing in the tent. There was a whole above my head in the tent and I could see that it was the night time.
For how many hours I was unconscious? Or day? Was it the same day or the next?
I didn't know what was I doing here, or who took me here? I tried to free my hand but nothing. The knot was too tight. Suddenly I heard footsteps near the tent I was kept.
My heart thumped against my chest, who would it be?
I looked at the shadow in front of the tent before that person parted the curtains and looked inside.
It was a soldier, the same kind of uniform he was wearing who attacked us on our way. He looked at me for a moment before he went away leaving me there.
It was not even few minutes when the curtains of the tent parted again and a person wearing a royal attire, came inside. He was looking in his late twenties, dusky skin with a not so good-looking face, it was creepy by the way he was smirking at me.
He stood there for few moments looking at me up and down. I tried to move away but couldn't as my body was weak.
He slowly started coming in my direction, I glared at him with my burning eyes. He was creeping me out.
He squatted down in front of me, his one hand coming to cup my cheek, I moved away my face from him, not wanting to touch by his filthy hands. But he cupped my chin tightly as he made me look at him.
"See what a gorgeous lady I have captured."
He said, and I felt disgusted by his words.
"Who are you?"
I asked looking at him and trying to free my face from his grip. He smirked and came near my face.
"So impatient to know me, huh?"
I gritted my teeth and again tried to free my face, but nothing. My body was too weak.
"Tell me who are you? And why have you kidnapped me?"
I asked in muffling voice, but he understood me. As he again smirked.
"Ham nahi jante the ki Somgarh ki rajkumari itni sundar hai, agar yeh hamein pehle pata hota toh aaj aap hamari patni hoti."
{"I didn't know the princess of Somgarh is this much beautiful. If I had known this sooner you would have been my wife for sure."}
Instead of answering he said the thing which was very useless. I knew I was beautiful but only my husband My Anirudh had the right to look at me this closely and no one else.
