Deku POV
"Im fine, seriously. You got way more into a fight with her than I did. Maybe you should get checked on." I say to my boyfriend as recovery girl checks on me.

"You took quite the fall Midoriya." Recovery girl finally says as I gulp. "Looks to be signs of a mild concussion."

"Fucking told you." He hisses at me as I clench my teeth. Recovery girl then leaves the room to run some tests through the analysis lab.

"I'm fine." I argue.

"Start worrying about yourself before others. You want me to get help for an injury, no matter what size. Why can't you just take your own advice and do the same?" He argues back.

"It's called empathy. Also, I still wasn't hurt that bad." I grumble.

"You aren't in charge of managing everyone else's shit, take a moment to let your head rest. I'm fine." He says as he walks closer to my hospital bed.

"Why are you so good to me?" I say with a slight laugh. He sits down next to me and sighs. "Nerd I'm serious."

"You keep trying but you're carrying too much. You have more responsibilities than the normal person could handle. Stop trying to fix problems that aren't your fucking job to repair." He says as he takes my hand in his gently.

"Get some fucking rest, you need it. It's okay to take a break every once in awhile. Let someone else help you for a change." He smiles at me before kissing my cheek as I flush red and smile back.

"I just don't want to be a nuisance to anyone like I was when I was quirkless. I'm rather useless when it comes to—" Kacchan cuts me off by pressing his lips to mine.

"I hate when you say those things about yourself. Everyone needs help at someone you idiot. Cut yourself some fucking slack." He lectures me as I grumble. He pauses for a couple moments before softly smiling at me.

"I care about you know, don't push me away." He whispers in my ear as I flush red a little bit. I smile at his words and I nod.

"Maybe we should continue where we left off the other night." He whispers as I elbow him slightly.

"You freaking tease!" I whisper-yell at him. Kacchan chuckles as he sits back down next to me.

"Alright boys, you're free to go." Recovery girl says as she walks into the room. I smile at her as Kacchan grabs my stuff and we both leave.

"Feeling any better, my love?" He whispers in my ear as we walk back. His words make me stop dead in my tracks.

"Wh-What?" I mutter as I flush bright red. I stare into his eyes as I bite my lip. He smirks a little and lightly chuckles as he walks up to me.

"Feeling shy, my love." He says the nickname again as I stumble through my words again.

I then get a series of texts that make me blush even more.
