Versus Termina: Showdown at Noir Terminus 3

Marx and Magolor glanced at each other, now fully realizing the horrific consequences of their petty actions. Taranza lay flat on the ground, too anxious to glance at the terrifying "Termina'' creature. 

Susie attempted to blast the otherworldly beast with her laser gun but to no avail.

Flamberge and Francisca held onto each other with fear, condemning their boss' outlandish plan to terminate the entire region of Popstar. The Noir Terminus followers cowered as they scattered across the field. As loyal as they pushed to be, the stench of death sent them into hysteria.

Their leader unhooded himself and stood in front of the creature, losing his mind at the sheer presence of Termina.

"HYNESS?! As a former league member who oversaw your coronation as gym leader all those years ago, this is completely disgraceful!" Meta Knight shouted as he ran toward Hyness, ready to attack him head-on.

"That old lunatic was the Gym Leader???" Marx shouted before quickly covering his mouth.

Magolor, Marx, Adeleine, and SK. charged at Hyness. All of them were enraged at the madman for unleashing such a dangerous legendary Pokémon.

"You absolute fool! Do you not know of the consequences of Termina's presence?! You'll kill us all!" Magolor shrieked as he sent out his Flapple to attack Hyness.

"What kind of sick monster is he?!" Adeleine called out.

"I can't WAIT to kick you to the ground and send you to the retirement home!" SK. growled.

"That's what I've been saying!" Flamberge shouted from afar, "... Too bad I was an idiot and thought we were taking over the region, not killing it!"

Meanwhile, Ribbon was nearly trampled by Hyness' followers. The crowd began shrieking from fear as she dodged in the knick of time and ran toward Parasol and Gooey.

"RIBBON?! YOU'RE OKAY!" Parasol cried out.

"I was trapped in a dark room just a moment ago! What happened here and where's Kirby?!" Ribbon questioned in a panic as she held on to a mysterious Pokémon Egg, "Huh? When did this get here???"

Parasol examined her surroundings and noticed her pink pal in the distance, closer to Meta Knight and the other more powerful trainers.

Kirby let out a long sigh and ran toward Hyness and Termina, determined to fight back. Parasol and Gooey tried to get a hold of their friend but were too far away to get him to stop. All the pink trainer could think about was saving their home... somehow.

Meta Knight and the gathered trainers took down Hyness at once.

"... YOU... THINK YOU CAN STOP ME?! ... I'LL HAVE YOU ALL-"

S.K. roundhouse kicked Hyness in the face and pinned him to the ground. Zan Partizanne grabbed the shadow trainer by the collar in retaliation and flung him away from her boss.

"Lord Hyness, sir! Are you-"

"...YOU LET THAT BRAT ATTACK ME?!... WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS!" Hyness barked, "DISGRACEFUL BODYGUARD!"

Zan Partizanne felt deeply humiliated, but she kept quiet on the matter.

Termina took notice of the General's emotions and leaned in.

YOU. ARE YOU NOT AWARE HE DOES NOT CARE FOR YOU?

"Huh?!"

YOU HAD GONE YOUR ENTIRE LIFE WITHOUT SOMEONE TO LOOK UP TO. EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO, YOU WERE ADOPTED BY HIM IN HOPES OF FINDING JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR EXISTENCE.
