It was that time of the year again: Earth Day for the firm.

Freen, ever the diligent boss, took the day extremely seriously, planning a massive beach cleanup and games that involved all employees.

No one was getting out of this, not even the lazy ones. There were donation stations, eco-friendly activities, motivational speeches—the whole nine yards. It was supposed to be an inspiring day to give back to the planet.

But for Orm, Becky, and Prig? It was the literal worst.

By 8 AM

They were expected to be on the beach, ready to get to work. The sun was already blazing, and the three of them could barely muster any enthusiasm for the day. Orm and Becky showed up together, both looking way too glam for picking up trash. Beach dresses, oversized sunglasses, and stylish hats.

Prig was already waiting for them near the sign-in table, arms crossed, looking at them like they had committed the worst crime possible.

The moment she saw them, her face turned into an exaggerated expression of disbelief.

"What the hell are you two wearing?" Prig snapped, glaring at them. "Why are you dressed up like you're about to hit a yacht party? You planned this, didn't you? Behind my back?!"

Orm flipped her hair, not bothered in the slightest. "Why are you wearing that hideous firm hat?"

Prig was literally a walking ad for the firm, She wore a hat and shirt with the logo on it.

Becky pulled down her shades and smirked. "Babe, you look like you're about to teach gym class."

Orm and Becky burst into laughter, clearly unfazed by the whole thing. "You do look cute, though," Orm teased, nudging Prig. "Like, adorably clueless, a high schooler who got lost on her way to summer camp."

Prig rolled her eyes, tugging at her hat. "Yeah, exactly I look like a fucking high schooler. Shorts and braids, great. I'm waiting for someone to ask me if I need a hall pass."

Both Orm and Becky let out a laugh.
