The night had spiraled into chaos the moment they stumbled out of the club. Lingling's adrenaline was still pumping when the drunk guys started their obnoxious comments.

She had already been holding back an ocean of frustration all night, and the dam finally broke.

"You wanna say that again?" she snapped, stepping forward.

Before Freen or Faye could stop her, Lingling swung the first punch.

The two guys fought back, but Lingling had the ferocity of someone who'd had enough. Freen and Faye exchanged a look, sighed, and jumped in—whether to help or stop her was unclear.

It quickly turned into a full-blown brawl that involved screaming, shoving, and an embarrassing amount of flailing.

A cop car rolled up, lights flashing. One of the officers stepped out, visibly unimpressed. "Alright, break it up! Hands where I can see them!"

The three of them were sitting in a dimly lit holding cell, bruised and sobering up in awkward silence. Lingling sat with her arms crossed, trying to rub away the sting in her knuckles.

Freen was slouched against the wall, while Faye bounced her leg anxiously, clearly feeling the buzz wear off—and reality hit.

"Well," Faye finally said, snorting bitterly, "Can you believe it? First time we all get arrested together, and it's at this age. Just fabulous." She tried to laugh, but her face was bruised, and the buzz was wearing off quickly.

Lingling gave her a side-eye. "Oh, please, don't act like you weren't throwing punches back there."

"I was defending myself!" Faye shot back.

"Sure," Freen chimed in lazily, "defending yourself by punching me? God Malisorn I think you dislocated my nose"

Faye rolled her eyes, but her lips twitched. "I got confused okay, Your small body just happen to be in front of me"

Freen glared at her feeling offended, " I fucking workout everyday, not for you to tell me small"
