Orm parked her Audi with a sharp turn, pulling up just outside the building. She noticed Lingling standing by the entrance, casually checking her watch like she had better places to be. Typical.

Without missing a beat, Orm got out of the car, tossed her keys at Lingling, who, despite her sharp reflexes, almost fumbled them. "Be a dear and park that for me, will you?" Orm called over her shoulder, acting as if Lingling was some valet worker.

Lingling caught the keys with a huff, glaring at Orm. "Really?" She rolled her eyes, but for once, didn't argue. Maybe it was because she was too irritated to fight or maybe—just maybe—it was because she knew Orm couldn't park like a normal person.

Lingling groaned but obliged, parking the car with ease. She threw the door shut and muttered under her breath, "She parks like a drunk toddler," before heading inside.

By the time Lingling joined Orm upstairs, the younger woman was already waiting in one of the plush chairs in the office lounge.

Orm was drumming her fingers against the table impatiently, clearly in no mood for games. "Finally," she said as Lingling dropped into the seat next to her.

Before they could exchange any more barbs, the assistant walked in, looking a bit uncomfortable. "Uh, I'm sorry to inform you both, but Mr. Jeb had an urgent meeting and won't be able to attend. However, his sister is here to meet with you instead."

Lingling scoffed audibly. "Of course. Gotta love the unprofessional last-minute change of plans," she muttered under her breath, loud enough for Orm to hear but low enough not to cause a scene. Orm shot her a look, coughing to cover the comment.

Orm forced a polite smile at the assistant. "No problem. We're happy to meet her."
