~Arrow's POV~
Katana and I crouched down over the still body of the Deadly Nadder. "Oh my gods," Kat whispered. I rubbed my forehead. "She better not have died on us," I said angrily. "The Nadder?" Kat asked.
"I hope not, but no, I was talking about Kyrra."
"Oh."
Katana wiped away what was almost a tear and glanced up at me. "Arrow, we should take her back to Berk," she said softly. "Kyrra?" I said absentmindedly, trying to make Kat smile. Kat ignored me and proceeded to lift the Nadder's head.
"I wish I knew her name," Katana said softly. My eyes burned. I whistled for Bonecrusher and he awkwardly trekked over, struggling through the snow.

I gently laid the Nadder's back legs on the table at the same time Kat laid her head. She handled it like she would a kitten-gently, carefully, and lovingly. Gothi prodded her stick into it, then scratched gibberish into the dirt.
Gobber peered over my shoulder. She says, "The dragon is not going to make it. And your friend won't either if you don't find her-and soon." I froze in silent shock. It was too much to take in. But I had to let it go, for Kat...and Kyrra. I kneeled bitterly in front of the old healer. "Kyrra is alive?" I whispered hopefully. Gothi nodded.
Katana let out an astounded breath, and despite the news about the Deadly Nadder we met eyes, grinning. "Katana, go prepare. We have a dragon to deal with."
"Don't we every day," she muttered, and then caught me. "It's KAT, you piece of dragon dung." I shrugged, indifferent, but smiling.
There was one thing I had to do before we left. I landed in front of Kyrra's house. "Stay," I said quietly to Bonecrusher. I smoothed my hair, quickly, and knocked. "Yes?"
I opened the same door that had smacked me earlier, slowly. "I heard about Kyrra already," Melina said, facing away from me and making her bed. "Have you come to gloat?"
"Why would I do that?" I said softly, resting my hand on her shoulder. She smiled when she saw it was me, making me blush. "I am so sorry about Kyrra-"Don't," she said softly, brushing my cheek quickly with her palm before returning to her task.
"I'm going out back there, Mel," I promised. "We will find her." "I don't want to hear your false promises," she said firmly. "Now go. Katana's waiting." I sighed and looked away, torn. She kissed my cheek quickly and ushered me out the door.

We went back to where we had found the Deadly Nadder. Kat brushed her fingers in the snow. The snow crater in the shape of a dragon had already be recoated, even though it was only snowing lightly. We wouldn't find any clues from the snow.
We regretfully climbed aboard Bonecrusher. We started flying away. Suddenly, something sparkled in the moonlight. "Port!" I commanded, ignoring Kat's questions. She would see.
Bonecrusher was more than enthusiastic about my discovery. He sniffed it over and over;on each exhale he grunted. He snorted at me. I pulled myself onto him. "Where are you going?" Kat asked worriedly. "To find Kyrra," I answered.
She put her hands on her hips. "And how exactly-" I yanked her in front of me and awkwardly put my hands on Bonecrusher's horns. "Find her, Bonecrusher," I ordered, almost quoting the chief that had died not that long ago. He took off with relish.

"Tracker Class," Kat breathed. "You're brilliant!" I grinned, enjoying the praise. Kat's hair whipped in my face and I leaned back, annoyed. Kyrra's knife dug into my side. Ow. I wondered if Kat was mourning the dragon. It was too much for her to now lose this one, too. I saw Berk on our right, and suddenly worried for Kyrra. Was she dead-maybe eaten like Kat's dragon? I felt a sudden rush of fury. That dragon that had taken her had killed our Nadder. I would kill that freak of nature on sight!
We rode in silence.
This time, Kat was the one to spot the possible clue. "Down there!" she pointed. We went down to the island as fast as my Rumblehorn could go. I wished I had a Night Fury for a moment. Maybe if I did, Kyrra wouldn't be gone. Maybe if I did, Mel wouldn't be mad at me like she surely was.
We landed, suddenly and roughly. I didn't hesitate to leap off Bonecrusher, landing ankle-deep in snow. There was a giant stream overflowing with ice and rushing water, all flowing into...a cave. "Kyrra!" I yelled, panicked. "Kyrra!!!" Kat shouted. "ARROW!" Kat screamed, without warning. I ran over like I was a Skrill riding lightning. Was it Kyrra?!She pointed wordlessly. My gaze followed her finger like a pig following a carrot. Far beneath a piece of ice that looked big enough to sink Berk was Kyrra...with her arms unconsciously wrapped around a white dragon that looked like the spawn of snow and death itself.
