To those of you who had commented, thank you for the laughs (you know who you are.) and to those of you who only voted, thank you for supporting this story- it really means a lot to me.
I've been working on this story for a long time.
It was actually the very first story I had ever started writing. I had even posted a few chapters of it before ever writing My Knight in Leather, but ended up taking it down because, well,
1. It was shit
2. No one was reading it
3. It was really shit.
But after my Knight in Leather was finished, I felt like giving this book a second chance and I am sooo glad that i did. Even the title is different from what it originally used to be. It used to be called "From The Dark"
This book is not perfect by ANY means, I know that, but it still holds a piece of my heart and I think it always will. I started this book during a dark time in my life, so ending it feels almost poetic in a way. Almost like I can finally close that chapter in my own life.
Like Alice, I feel like I've grown a lot. I've started speaking up for myself, started taking better care of my health. I started leaning on the people I should've been able to lean on from the start and almost feel like a new person.
But also just like Alice, there's still more room for me to grow as a person as well as a writer.
That being said...
i am planning to do a TOTAL re edit/ reconstruction of BOTH MOONLIGHT and MY KNIGHT IN LEATHER at some point. so look forward to that in the future 😉.
(I will probably keep the old version up though and just make a separate edited version)
Also! I do have another book in the works but I don't think I'll start posting it until some time next year. I'm a bit mentally exhausted after writing this book so I'm taking some time for myself.
I'll make another announcement about it when the time comes closer for me to start posting though so lookout for that.
Though I will say that it's one I'm most looking forward to writing!
