“Remind me why I'm here again?” Jace asked as he manspread on one of the lawn chairs in my backyard. Cas called him a few hours ago, asking him to meet her here so she could tell him that she'd be leaving soon.

He just decided to show his ugly ass face right when Cas got in the shower. This bastard had the gall to try and shove his way into my home like he owned the place. I shot that shit down real fucking fast.

His last name might be King but as far as i'm concerned he's nothing more than a mere fool who thinks his shit doesn't stink.

A cocky smirk made its way onto his face as he looked me up and down with his head tilted to the side. “So? Are you gonna get me a drink or what?”

The fuck did he just say to me?!

I took a threatening step forward with my fists clenched at my sides as I tried to contain my anger, “Listen here you piece of–”

“Sorry for making you wait, baby!” Cas giggled, running into Jace’s waiting arms. A fake ass smile plastered on his face as she sat on his lap, peppering kisses all over his face.

Barf...

“There's my gorgeous girl! I missed you!” he cooed, tucking his head into her neck, peppering her skin with small kisses that made her giggle some more.

Again, barf.

“Cas, do you need me here for this or is it alright if I head back inside? Derek and Jeremy should be here soon…” I asked, motioning back to the house.

“I should be fine!” she smiled, never taking her eyes off of the smug bastard she's sitting on. “I'll tell you if I need you, though I doubt I'll need to.”

“yeah, don't worry Alice… we'll be fine out here by ourselves.” Jace winked at her, before shooting me another cocky smirk.

Placing one hand in my back pocket I pulled out my butterfly knife, twirling it between my fingers as I locked eyes with him. A small satisfied feeling filled my chest when I saw how his smirk faltered slightly and how he paled a little.

“Fine, I'll be in the living room if you need me."

About an hour later the boys finally showed up and I was all too eager to pull them into the house.

“well hello to you too!” Jeremy chuckled as I pulled him into the house. “if you missed me you could've just said so!” he wiggled his eyebrows and I only rolled my eyes, closing the door behind Derek.

“What's going on, Red? You look like you're gonna blow a gasket.” he frowned, taking a step towards me.

I huffed and rolled my eyes again, leaning my back against the door, “Cas’s boy-toy, Jace, is here and it's taking everything in me to not strangle him.” I glared past Derek's head towards the backyard where Cas and said boy-toy were screwing around.
