"Hey"
That fermillier voice. I blinked a couple of times to see a head of messy white hair.
"Are you ok?"
Those fermillier words. I really am back at the start
"I can't blame you for getting overwhelmed. This whole situation is a lot to take- hey are you crying?"
I touched my cheek, feeling something wet at my fingertips.
"Hey I'm a little worried about you" he got down on his knees "my name is nagito komeada. My talent is nothing to write home about. I'm just lucky but I can at least be your friend through this tough time"
He held his hand out to me with a kind smile. A vision of nagito igniting the bomb flashed through my mind.
"No!" I slapped his hand away before running off.
"Hey hold on" he called out to me but I ignored him. I can never look at him the same again. Unfortunately I couldn't see due to the tears in my eyes and I banged straight into the back of a pink haired boy.
"Ow!" Kazuichi rubbed his back in annoyance "hey what was that for-hey you alright dude?" His expression changed from annoyed to concern.
I thought back to how my failure killed him. I pulled him into a hug, relieved to see him alive again.
"Hey it's alright dude" he rubbed my back comfortingly "I'm pretty scared myself. So let's agree to stick together. I'm kazuichi by the way. What's yours?"
"Hajime" I pulled away, wiping my tears with a smile "hajime hinata"
