Hajimes pov
We gathered on the beach, everyone saying the same things they did before. Are we in a time loop? But that shouldn't be possible. Time travel's a work of fiction and this is real life! And if that's so how come I'm the only one who seems to remember? Why was I chosen? It doesn't make sense!
I watched as everyone ran into the ocean with happy smiles on their faces, just like before. I collapsed on the sand, my body shaking. I can't do this again!
"Hey hey are you okay?" chaki bent down in front of me. A vision of her crushed and bloodied body flashed through my mind.
"Chaki" I gripped her hoodie and tears ran down my cheeks "I can't do this. It's too much!"
"The hell is wrong with you!" Fuyuhiko growled "breaking down in front of a girl. How pathetic can you be!"
"There's no need for that" she said sternly before gently wiping my tears away "you're going to be okay hajime. We're all here for you. You just have to open your heart to the others. Can you do that for me?"
"I can try" I said reluctantly. She made it so hard to refuse.
"Thank you" her sweet smile melted my fears away. That is until the sky turned black and that damn bear ordered us to the park.
"No!" I gripped my hair fearfully. Not again. Not again!
"Hajime it's going to be alright" she took my hand with a reassuring smile. I let her drag me to the park without much of a fight.
*Time skip*
I watched as the fearful cries of my classmates rang out, now realising the hellish situation they found themselves in. Instead of joining their panic like before I felt calm, in control. I think I realise now why I was sent here. I'm here to stop this madness...
I'm here to save them.
