Hajimes pov
As soon as those words left his mouth a feeling of dread settled in the pit of my stomach. Shit. How could I have forgotten about that!
"Hajime you look pale" nagito gave me a worried look "are you ok-"
I didn't answer. I took off running through the doors "hajime wait!" Nagito and the others called out but I ignored them. Maybe if I can get to her in time I can save nekumaru from his robot fate.
I reached the beach feeling breathless. I scanned through the beach desperately. Please tell me she didn't do this again-
"Monokuma!" I looked over to see akane pointing at the bear "I'm going to avenge peko and the others. Now fight me!"
"Oh? You want to die that badly?" He laughed into his paws "you do remember my rule don't you?"
"I don't play by the rules. I'm a free spirit" she cracked her knuckles "I'm ready to fight you so prepare yourself!"
"Well it's a waste but I guess it can't be helped" he shrugged "alright come at me!"
She got ready to charge him. No! I jumped in the way before she could punch the bear. I heard something crack as I fell to my knees.
"Hey what the heck did you do that?" She said shakily.
"I couldn't let you throw your life away" I coughed. My ribs are killing me! Feeling light headed I fell into her arms.
"Hajime!" Our friend's rushed up to us as my consciousness faded.
