Oh, YEAH! We're here, we're ready, we're able, and we're doing this right now! What's up, everyone? My name is Ariel Axilas, and welcome back to yet another chapter of my second novel, "Lightspeed: Drug Detectives"! Last time, my badass posse and I—consisting of myself, my best friend Erica Shields, and the Paragon Herman—officially stormed the Celestial Compound while it was already under attack by forces from the Mastermind Conspiracy, which we assumed to be Marle Atkins's doing.....even though we haven't spotted her amidst the ensuing chaos yet.
The three of us really do be out here kicking all kinds of ass, my dude! From Herman blazing around on his motorcycle to Erica borrowing my car and barreling through storehouses and residence buildings, not to mention me rushing around and knocking down those Celestial Syndicate grunts like dominoes, the last chapter was filled with unmitigated badassery (is that a word?) on ALL fronts. And when I say ALL fronts, I do mean ALL. .....Except for the Celestial Syndicate themselves. They're not really badasses. It's just us.
But it's time to bring this skirmish to a decisive point. That chapter ended with me regrouping with my best friend Erica and allowing her to start the process of getting me into just the right position.....for me to blow up the Celestial Compound's middle building—which we assume is their central factory—to the fucking heavens. Erica pulled up near me, disengaged her "driver" kit, enabled me to take control of the vehicle again, and had me drive to the front gates, poised to get me to the proper spot.
This time......get ready to see some fireworks, bitches.

I, Lightspeed, drive my prized car back out of the Celestial Compound's front gates—which are already thoroughly and irreversibly exploded off of their hinges—and to a spot several feet away from said front gates, though it's still a straight shot into the compound from where we currently are. Once we're there, I place the car in "Park", engage the brake, and exit the car alongside my best friend Erica Shields, with the both of us meeting back up at the car's trunk.
"You ready for this, Ari?" Erica asks me. "I'll be right here, watching the festivities from a safe distance! Then, once the dust has settled, I'll get in your car and reverse myself back into the compound again! .....I do have your permission to hijack your car again, right?"
"Oh, and turn it into a weapon of mass destruction once again?" I confirm. "Yeah, no, by all means. Seriously. With me having super speed, I'm basically a high-speed car myself. Hell, even the fastest cars can't hold a damn candle to me!"
"You got that right."
I exhale. "Of course I do. So, what do I do again?"
Erica opens the trunk of my car and pulls out an upper body harness and two carabiners, with all the items being connected to each other by a strong cable. "First, slip this upper body harness over yourself."
"Oh! Umm.....sure!" I say, as I proceed to do so. I don't really feel that cool running around in something that's not usually part of my costume, but it's part of a plan to take down one of the most notorious drug cartels in the Dominican Republic, and I would gladly make any sacrifice in order to orchestrate their end. "Give me a second....."
I fully secure the harness over my upper body.....but I must admit that the straps are a teensy bit uncomfortable on the sides of my cleavage. I manage to press the two main buckles closed, however—and even hear satisfying "click" sounds as I do so—and afterwards, Erica takes the first of the two carabiners, affixes it to the back of my upper body harness, and also hooks up one end of the strong cable to said carabiner. Lastly, she takes the other end of the strong cable, hooks it up to the second of the two carabiners, and then affixes the second carabiner to a small groove at the back edge of my car's trunk.
