I looked at the other end of the room, and there he was. My fiancé standing in a tux. He looked so handsome. I felt as if I was falling in love with him all over again. I slowly made my way down the aisle up to him. This was it. We were finally getting married. Dean brought out the rings. Sam placed the ring on my finger, and I placed the other one on his. The priest said what he was supposed to, and we said our vows. "You may now kiss the bride." Sam gently cupped my face in his hands. He gave me a strong yet gentle kiss. It was amazing. Suddenly, the door to the room burst open and some sort of being was standing there. He came running towards me. Dean tried to attack it with the blade he decided to bring. It didn't work. He flung Dean across the room. He was still after me.
He flung Sam down on the ground and shoved a heavy table up against him. He screamed in pain.
~Sam's POV~
I needed to protect Miranda. She wasn't supposed to move much with the baby. Beings knew hurting her would get to me and Dean. It would be torture for us and they knew it. I couldn't move the table. She was still standing at the altar, petrified.
"Run Miranda!" I shouted. She started to, but was thrown into the wall. She slid down heavily. She was still conscious. The being walked up to her, aiming to stab her in the heart, she moved just in time, it stabbed her in the arm. She shrieked in pain. "Miranda!" I shouted out. I managed to get away from the table before the being could do anything more to her. It was about to stab her in the heart for sure this time. I jumped in front of her. It stabbed me in the back near my shoulder. I wouldn't die, but I needed stitches.
I didn't have enough strength left to stab it myself. Luckily, Dean was no longer unconscious, and he stabbed it in the back and it died.
"Are you ok baby?" I asked. She nodded and was breathing heavy.
"Are you?" She asked after catching her breath.
"Yeah. I think so. Dean, will you take a look at this? Do I need to go to the hospital or can you handle it?" I took off my jacket and pulled up my shirt.
"I can handle it. Don't worry. And I can fix yours too Miranda." She nodded. We went back to the bunker from there.
"I'm sorry Miranda." I said once we were in the car.
"Why? You didn't know that thing would be there and you saved me. So what if I got hurt a little?"
"We need to make sure we get you checked out in the next day or two. You hitting that wall might have hurt the baby. We need to be sure." I was really worried.
"Ok. We can get me checked out, but you shouldn't be sorry. It's ok." She replied. When we got back, Dean stitched us up.
The next day we went to the doctor and everything was still fine.
"Thank God everything was fine." I said once we were done.
"Yeah. And hey, we're married now." She said with a smile.
"That we are." I said with an equally happy smile. "Now we just have to wait for the baby to come."
"Yep. Should be any day now. Are you nervous?" She asked.
"A little. We still need to pick a name."
"True. Let's sit down when we get back to the bunker, and work on finding a name now that we know it's a boy. Oh, and I told Dean that I want him to help us pick. He's not the dad but he is gonna be a big part of his life so I feel like he should help us. Is that ok?"
"I was actually gonna ask if Dean could help us, so yeah, of course." We got back to the bunker and the three of us sat at one of the tables and worked on baby names. Sam and I were spouting off random names, none of which sounded right when we said them out loud.
"Jason, Max, James?" I started listing
"Brad, Dylan, Bryan, Jared?" Sam started. We listed off some more and didn't have much luck.
"What about you. Dean?
"I don't know, um, Ethan, Shane, Kyle?"
"Ethan. That's perfect. What do you think Sam?"
"I love it."
"Thanks Dean."
"No problem." He replied nonchalantly. A few days passed and it was finally happening. I was having a baby. It was pretty quick. Dean rushed us to the hospital when my water broke and once I was in labor, Ethan came really easily. Sam took Ethan in his arms and I saw him cry just looking at him. It was adorable to say the least.
After I spent a few days in the hospital so they could make sure I was ok and to wean me off the pain meds, we went back to the bunker. We had a car seat set up in the back of the impala and Dean promised he wouldn't speed too much.
I rode in the back with Ethan while Sam rode in the front. My baby boy kept staring me in the eyes, inspecting me. I hoped he saw who I wanted to be, and who I would try my best to be. I hoped he saw a woman who would do her best to be a great mom and who loved him to death. It didn't take long to get to the bunker. We got out, went inside, and laid the now asleep Ethan in the crib.
