It had been a few days since I had told Sam and Dean about the baby. Dean had just finished my fake ID and insurance card.

"You ready to go babe?" Sam asked

"I guess so. I'm just worried about this fake ID stuff."

"It's ok. We use them all the time. It'll work." I nodded. The three of us got into the impala and headed out to the hospital.

We had an appointment set up so we just had to wait for the doctor to come out into the waiting room. The doctor came out.

"Katherine Stevens?" That was my fake name. We walked back and she asked some questions as they took my blood pressure and stuff. "So, how far along are you?"

"About a month or so."

"Have you been having any problems, feeling any pain, experiencing anything different?"

"No."

"Ok. That's good. We are just gonna do some tests to make sure everything is fine."

"So I assume you are the father?" She asked, gesturing at Sam who was holding my hand.

"I am now." Sam stated. She looked at him confused.

"It's my ex husband's he left once he found out I was pregnant. He is who I'm gonna call the father though." I explained with a smile, motioning at Sam.

"Ok." She said, then explained all this mumbo jumbo about the tests to Sam and I, and he somehow understood them. We did all the tests and things were good. "Well everything is going fine. It's still really early so we'll have to do some follow ups of course, but you are totally healthy and by the looks of it right now, everything will be fine with this pregnancy."

"Great." I said. We went to check out and pay. The doctor stopped Sam before we checked out.

"I just want to say that I think it's great that you support her and this child even though it's not yours. I've been doing this a long time, and that's not something I see often."

"Well, it's ours now because she is mine." She patted him on the back and went back to what she had to do. We paid and left.

"Hey Sam, how did you understand all the mumbo jumbo she was saying about all those tests?"

"I went to college for a while to become a lawyer. I learned a lot of stuff in school. I guess I picked up on some medical terminology too."

"Cool. I'm dating a smarty." I chuckled at myself and the guys chuckled too. We got back to the bunker and hung out and did research.
