Koo's 40th week was about to end. Two more weeks till his delivery. Taehyung was already preparing Koo's mind as he would be hospitalized for the last few days to prevent any kind of mishap. The boy became more whiny and moody these days. Most of the time Koo was frustrated or else scared. Scared of labor and the pain that comes with it.

Right now he was brushing Tan's fur. They were sitting in the living room, Koo and his momma. A Korean drama was playing on the LCD. The noon was at its peak.

Mrs.Kim's phone rang.

"Hello, "

"Eomma, I'm calling Koo but he is not picking up. Can you please check on him and tell me if he is ok," Taehyung spoke in a breath.

" Calm down bear, me and Koo are in the living room. Your koo is all fine." She smiled glancing at Koo who was gathering a small pigtail near Tan's ear and securing it with a bow clipper.

"Thank god. Uh eomma! Koo's nurse is on her way. It might take ten minutes. Welcome her warmly."

"You don't need to tell me Tae, I know her. Okay..anything else?"

" That's all..can you please get Koo on the line, I want to hear his voice."

" Oh gosh, my Romeo son, here talk to him." She pressed the device against Koo's ear.

"Hello.."

"Koo, how are you bub?" Honey drips from his voice.

"Good, getting Pommie ready to meet Ms. Pretty. I know she is coming today."

"Wow, my smart bun..Love you..be nice to her.."

"Love you more hubby, I'm busy now. bye~"Koo cut the call.

The mother shrugged her shoulders and went to check the staff who were setting the guest room as per Ms.Pretty's need because she would be staying with them to attend Koo all the time in these last days of pregnancy.

Satisfied, she instructed the chef to prepare tea and beverages for the guest.

Tan was all done when she came back to the living place. Two pigtails were standing near both his ears and small cute bows on them. She brushed Koo's fluffy hair back, "Boba, do you want momma to get you ready too.."

Koo shook his head, "I don't have to impress her.. " he said slightly rolling his eyes.

"I know but you should look presentable too." She spoke gently.

"Do I look ugly now? Huh! I'm ugly now.."Koo's tone was defensive as he swatted her hand away and fat tears built up in his eyes.

"No Koo, I didn't mean that. You just look disorganized. And we are about to welcome a guest."

"But I don't like her..." Koo shouted not caring about anything.

The staff head who came with the guest who just arrived gasped. They were standing at the door, about to enter.

"Oh, I'm sorry, please come inside.." Mrs. Kim shortly eyed Koo as she apologized and walked toward the guest. "You must have recognized me, we were colleagues back then." She warmly opened her arms to hug the lady.

"Why not Jaehyun-shi, nice to see you." Ms.Pretty accommodated the hug as she said, eyes momentarily darting to the tensed and stressed boy sitting on the couch. 

Mrs. Kim showed her way to the sofa and signaled the staff to bring drinks.

"Hey, how are you Jungkook-shi." The lady seemed unbothered by Koo's earlier statement. She addressed Koo as Jungkook now as Koo told her not to call him by his nickname 'Koo'.
