A Life So Changed {Waterloo Road}

Chapter One

Chris Mead was in the middle of his meeting with Max Tyler, Rachel Mason and Kim Campbell. Chris had always had a soft spot for Kim "there's two new students joining us today, one  name is Amelia and she's fifteen" Chris looked up "what's her last name?" Rachel looked at the file "Amelia Michelle Mead" Max looked at Chris "your daughter?" Chris shook his head "my sister, she has had a few issues" Max spoke up again "no special treatment for her" Chris rolled his eyes "I know. Who's the other girl?" Rachel looked at the other file "Skyler Johnson, same age as Amelia".

Chris was waiting in the office for the two girls to arrive. The last he heard about Mia was she had pink hair. It was breaktime when Max came out the office "you've been known to play favourites so if Amelia has any trouble she can come and talk to me" Chris rolled his eyes but nodded.

Amelia Mead was stood outside Waterloo Road school, she wasn't in the proper school uniform, she was wearing black skinny jeans, white school top with hooped earrings, black heels and a black leather jacket. Amelia walked in "excuse me, where's the office?" A girl with black hair turned to look at her "follow me, I'll take you there" Amelia smiled "thanks"

Amelia was taken to the office by the girl who's name she learnt was Karla. When she got there she saw her brother Chris "are you okay?" Amelia nodded "yeah, I'm fine" Chris smiled and hugged his sister "how have you been?" Amelia shrugged "fine I guess, its been hard but I'm trying to stay strong" Chris smiled just as Max came out the office "I'll speak with Amelia" Amelia looked at Chris and she followed Max into the office.

Max shut the office door and spoke "so you must be Christopher's sister" Amelia nodded "yeah" Max smirked amd sat opposite her "you're nothing like Christopher" Amelia rolled her eyes "that's a good thing".

Tom made his way to the office as he had been told there was a new girl who was to be in his form. When he got there he saw Chris "is there a new girl in here?" Chris turned to him "Amelia?" Tom shook his head "Skyler Johnson" Chris frowned "the only girl here is my sister, Amelia" Tom was shocked "I didn't know you had a sister" Chris nodded "she got bullied and was home-schooled for a while" Tom smiled "I hope she's okay now" Chris laughed "the last I heard about her she had pink hair, she dyed it again though".

Tom stayed in the office waiting for Skyler. It was breaktime when the door opened "excuse me, I'm looking for Mr Tyler or Mr Clarkson" Tom smiled "I'm Mr Clarkson" "I'm Skyler" Tom grinned "ah, you're our new student" Skyler nodded "I am indeed" Tom sat opposite Skyler "Mr Tyler is with another new student who's starting today so you have me for now".

Max had told Amelia that if she ever needed anyone then to come and talk to him. Amelia stood to leave the office and Max followed her "Amelia, there's another pupil starting today named Skyler so you and her are buddying up" Amelia nodded "okay".

Amelia and Max left the office to see Tom and Skyler "Mr Clarkson this is Amelia Mead" Tom smiled at Amelia and then he introduced Skyler "this is Skyler, she's also new today".

Amelia and Skyler followed Tom to his classroom "right you horrible lot, two new girls today, Amelia Mead and Skyler Johnson" "hang on, Mead? Is one of you Mead's daughter?" Amelia rolled her eyes "I'm his sister, if you have a problem with that then deal with it". Amelia and Skyler sat together when two girls turned to them "I'm Lauren and this is Sam" both girls smiled "your hair is amazing, I love the curls" Amelia smiled "thanks, Skyler's is much better though".

Chris had been asked by his parents if Amelia could stay with him and he agreed so when school ended that day Chris met her outside "you're staying with me" Amelia shrugged "whatever".

Amelia and Chris got home and Amelia sat on the sofa texting Skyler, the two girls had only just met but they were slowly becoming best friends -

Amelia - Seen any teachers you like? X

Skyler - Not one, you? X

Amelia - One or two. X

Skyler - I'm gonna go and study. Meet you tomorrow? X

Amelia - Yeah! X

Amelia climbed into bed that night not realising how much her life was going to change now she was at Waterloo Road.

A/N ~ Well first chapter.Sorry it was short.
