Amelia had been at Waterloo Road for a few days and she was slowly getting used to it. Since meeting Skyler the two had become really close.

When Amelia and Chris got to school Amelia made her way over to Skyler who was reading "hey" Skyler looked up and smiled "morning" Amelia sat down next to her and spoke "are you okay?" Skyler nodded "yeah, I'm fine" Amelia grinned "Amelia, I'll meet you here after school" Amelia shrugged "whatevs" Chris rolled his eyes and walked off as he had a meeting.

Chris was in the meeting and Kim spoke "how's Amelia setting in?" Chris looked over and spoke "she's slowly getting there but I think it's hard for her" Kim sympathetically smiled "she'll settle soon enough, if she ever needs to talk to someone then I'm happy to do it" Chris smiled "thanks Kim, I know she would appreciate someone to talk too" Kim nodded "how about I have a little chat with her today? Just to see how she feels about all this" Chris nodded "sure".

Everyone had left the office so Max stayed behind to think. There was something about Amelia that didn't seem right, she seemed like a troubled girl and he wanted to know why. He knew Kim would get her to open up but if he was being  honest he wanted to be the one who got her to open up.

Amelia sat in English with Mr Budgen when the door knocked "can I borrow Amelia?" Amelia looked up and stood to follow Miss Campbell.

Amelia followed Miss Campbell to her office "what's this about?" Kim smiled and spoke as she sat down "I just wanted to see how you were settling in, being Chris' sister" Amelia shrugged "it's not easy and I'm trying to stay strong" Kim smiled "that's good, I suppose this chat is for me to see how you are and that you can always come to me if needed" Amelia frowned "who have you been talking too? Was it my brother?" Kim frowned as she spoke "Amelia, everyone is here for you yeah? Me, your brother, Mr Tyler, Miss Mason" Amelia rolled her eyes "that's a load of crap! I know all you teachers sit in the office having a cup of coffee , slagging us all off. You do nothing when it comes to pupils, you roll your eyes and pretend to help us. Well guess what? I'm not falling for it!" Amelia stood and she went to leave but before she did she turned to Miss Campbell "it's Mia, by the way, I hate being called Amelia".

Mia stormed through the school ignoring the fact she was supposed to be in class. While storming she saw her brother so she avoided him by ducking into an empty classroom. Five minutes had passed and Mia stood to leave the classroom but as she did she saw Mr Tyler standing in the doorway with a smirk on his face "I'm hoping there's a good reason as to why you're not in class" Mia rolled her eyes "blame your crap Pastoral Care teacher, thinking she knows best" Max frowned "what happened?" Mia shrugged "tried getting me to open up, I don't do touchy feely crap" Max nodded "in future you come and talk to me" Mia rolled her eyes again "yeah maybe".

Skyler sat in Mr Clarkson's classroom doing her work when Tom came and sat next to her "how are things going?" Skyler smiled "fine thanks sir" Tom grinned and nodded "that's good, remember you can always talk to me" Skyler nodded and smiled "thank you so much Mr Clarkson" Tom smiled "call me Tom when we're alone" Skyler nodded grateful she had found at least one teacher she could trust.

Mia stood outside Mr Clarkson's classroom waiting for Skyler. When she came out Mia took her hand and led her outside "is everything okay?" Skyler nodded "it's fine, Mr Clarkson was being kind, told me I could always talk to him if needed" Mia grinned "that's good, he seems like the only decent teacher in this place".

_A Few Hours Later_

School had ended so Mia went to meet Chris "how was it?" Mia glared "fine. I know you got that Campbell teacher  to try and get into my head" Chris frowned and spoke "she offered to speak with you, I never asked her to" Mia rolled her eyes "I wanna go home. Now".

Chris and Mia got home and Mia went straight to her room ignoring Chris talking to her. Chris called Mia for dinner but she had been skyping Skyler planning a night out soon. During dinner Chris noticed Mia wasn't talking "are you okay?" Mia just nodded "I wanna go to bed" Chris frowned "you've not eaten anything" Mia shrugged "I'm done" Mia walked through to her room and she fell asleep.

A/N ~ So, I'm gonna be updating this another three times today as well as DORM and AUER. (StrangeDesires wants me too)

I'll attempt some updates for my Hollyoaks stories this week.
