Chapter Nine

A/N - Another short update. Oh well.

Skyler hadn't spoken to Tom since he told her that nothing could ever happen between them. As it was the weekend Mia and Skyler were going out although Chris wasn't happy about it.

Mia and Skyler were in Mia's room getting ready and Mia had gotten dressed into a pink dress, pink heels a leather jacket. Skyler had on a navy blue dress with ballet flats and a denim jacket "Mia, I want you back here for half 11" Mia rolled her eyes "not my dad".

When they got to the club Mia saw that Tom was there "look who's here" Skyler looked up and felt her spirit lift "shall we go and talk to him?" Mia shook her head "let him come to you" Skyler nodded "okay".

Mia ordered drinks while Skyler went over to a table, she had chosen one close to where Tom was. Mia came over and sighed "really?" Skyler shrugged "it's the only decent one".

Tom saw Skyler and he thought she looked beautiful. Tom really wanted to go and speak with Skyler but Mia was there and he didn't want to humiliate himself.

Mia was sitting at the table with Skyler and she received a text, looking she saw it was Max -

Max - Where are you?

Mia - Club 101; why?

Max - Wait there

Mia grinned and she looked at Skyler who was watching Tom "quit staring" Skyler turned to Mia "I can't help it" Mia smiled just as her phone went off again -

Max - Outside

Mia stood "I'll be back soon" Skyler smiled and nodded "I'll be here" Mia grinned and went outside.

Max was leaning against his car "following me now?" Max looked over to see Mia walking towards him with a smile on her face "so what if I am?" Mia grinned as Max pulled her towards him "we both know you love it" Mia looked around "bit risky isn't it? Anyone could see" Max nodded and opened the passenger side of his car.

Tom saw Mia leave the club so he walked over to Skyler "are you safe where you're staying?" Skyler looked up and nodded "I'm staying with Mia so I'm safe" Tom nodded and sat next to her "the house has been quiet without you" Skyler let out a small laugh "yeah?" Tom nodded "yeah".

Max and Mia were talking "I think Chris is starting to guess something is going on" Max looked at her "why do you think that?" Mia shrugged "he just keeps asking me about the love bite you gave me. I tried telling him it was from someone else but he doesn't believe me" Max sighed "next time he asks just tell him you were with someone from your old school" Mia groaned "I was home-schooled. I could say it was one of my friends" Max nodded "good".

Tom had brought Skyler another drink "where's Mia?" Skyler shrugged "she got a text and I've not seen her since" Tom smiled.

Mia and Max were still in the car talking "do you regret what happened between us?" Max looked at her "no, do you?" Mia shook her head "nope" Max leaned over and kissed her. She kised back "I wish we could" Max smirked "we could. I could take you back to mine. I could have you back here within 45 minutes".

Skyler and Tom had moved closer together and Tom looked into her eyes and he inched his face closer to hers "this shouldn't happen but I want it too" Skyler smiled and Tom placed his lips on hers in a passionate embrace.

Mia and Max were getting dressed at Max's "that was fun" Max smirked "indeed". Max took Mia back to the club and she went inside to see Tom and Skyler passionately kissing "this looks cosy" they both pulled apart to see Mia standing there with a grin on her face "I should go" Skyler smiled as Tom left.

Mia and Skyler were outside waiting for a taxi "where did you run off to?" Mia smiled and winked "for me to know". When they got back to Chris' they saw him still awake "didn't expect you to wait up for us" Chris rolled his eyes "off too bed. The pair of you" Mia grinned and she and Skyler went to bed both falling asleep instantly.
