It was the last day of term before the Christmas holidays. Mia was looking forward to it because she wouldn't see Waterloo Road for three weeks.

That morning Mia woke and immediately had the feeling that something was going to happen. Heading downstairs Mia saw Kim there "morning Mia" Mia smiled and she sat opposite Kim. Chris had made a fry-up but as soon as Mia smelt it she felt sick "move that away from me" Chris frowned "are you alright?" Mia shook her head "no I'm not. I feel sick".

Chris and Mia arrived at school with Kim "six hours to go" Kim grinned "can't wait" Mia rolled her eyes "turn down the lovey doveyness. Making me wanna vom" Chris watched as Mia walked over to Skyker.

"Mia, you look pale" Mia groaned "how pale?" Skyler faintly smiled "ghostly pale" Mia groaned again "my stomach is in agony" Skyler smiled "you sure you're not pregnant?" Mia shook her head "no, my period was last... Crap" Skyler frowned "Mia?" Mia looked at Skyler "I missed my period" realisation dawned on Skyker "you need to do a test" Mia nodded "there's one in my bag from before".

Mia and Skyler were in the toilets and Mia had done the pregnancy test. When the time was up Mia turned the test over and saw the word that scared her -

Positive

"Well?" Mia looked at Skyler "it's positive" Skyler pulled Mia into a hug "it's gonna be fine. I promise" Mia didn't know weather to cry or be happy.

It was time for assembley and so Mia made her way into the hall with Skyler "you need to speak with Max" Mia shook her head "not until I've been to the doctor and had it confirmed" Skyler nodded.

Halfway through the assembley Amy Porter stood "I have something to tell you all" Mia looked up as Amy stood and made her way onto the stage "two people this year have been having an affair. Not two teachers. Not two students but a teacher and a student" Mia paled as did Max and Amy continued "Mr Tyler and Mia Mead have been seeing each other for months". Mia looked over at Chris and saw he looked fuming. Rachel spoke "assembley over".

Mia was first to leave the hall. She needed to get away from Chris 'MIA!" Mia ignored him yelling her name.

Max was sitting in the office thinking about Mia. He didn't know how long he had been thinking for when the door opened and Chris came in "is it true? Were you sleeping with my sister?" Max had to hide his smirk "I don't know what to say" Chris rolled his eyes "the truth Max. Did you get my sister into bed?".

Mia sat in the cooler crying she needed to leave and she needed to leave now. Mia grabbed her stuff and left the cooler "Mia" Mia turned to see Skyler "I'm leaving. I need too" Skyker frowned "you can't leave" Mia tried to stop the tears "I have too. I can't stay here now" Skyler was crying "Mia, please" Mia shook her head "I'm not strong enough to handle this" Mia turned and walked off.

Things were tense between Chris and Max. Chris was trying to not hit Max "why did you do it?" Max smirked "she never said no" Chris took a step towards him "all the times you were helping her with her eating disorder were you trying to get her into bed?" Max sighed "it wasn't like that" Chris rolled his eyes "she was ill and vulnerable. You took advantage" Max smirked again "like I said. She never said no" Chris punched Max just as the door opened "stop!".

Chris and Max turned to see Skyler and Tom standing there "what's wrong?" Skyler was too upset to talk so Tom hugged her and he spoke "Mia's gone".
