Mia was starting to panic. Her period was late by two weeks. Mia knew the last time she had had sex with Max they didn't use protection so it was his baby if she was pregnant. Chris was going to kill her and then bring her back to clean up the mess.

Mia went into the living room that morning and saw Kim sitting on the sofa "you still here?" Mia asked. Kim looked up "nice to see you too," Kim said Mia rolled her eyes just as Skyler came downstairs. Skyler smiled at Mia and Mia didn't smile back. Skyler knew there was something wrong with Mia.

Tom text Skyler saying he loved her before walking into the staffroom. "Someone looks cheerful," Steph said to him "Oh, just a nice night last night," Tom replied.

Chris made breakfast and once again Mia didn't eat anything "Mia, are you not eating?" Mia looked over at Kim "not that it's any of your business but I'm not hungry" Chris looked over "Mia, are you okay?" Mia rolled her eyes and spoke "I'm FINE! I wish everyone would quit asking me".

Mia sat on her bed crying and Skyler came in "Mia, what's wrong?" Mia looked at Skyler and shook her head "nothing I'm fine" Skyler sat next to her "I know you're not so tell me" Mia tried not to cry anymore but it was hard "I don't wanna talk about it. Not here anyway" Skyler nodded "at school then?" Mia eventually nodded.

Chris got to school and saw Tom standing at the door with a smile on his face "someone is happy" Tom smiled "I realised I have a lot to be happy about" Chris nodded "right, well good luck".

Skyler took Mia to oneside "talk to me" "I think I'm pregnant," Mia said. She tried not to cry. Skyler held her tightly "at break I'm taking you into town to do a pregnancy test".  Deep down Skyler considered weather the condom broke. Just as she was about to tell Mia Josh walked past and gave Skyler a dirty look "what's that about?" Mia asked,.Skyler shrugged "I don't know. He's been like that for a while now" Mia nodded and Skyler held her for a bit longer "does Mr Tyler know about the possibility that you're pregnant?" Mia paled even more if that was possible "no, he can't know either" Skyler frowned as Mia started panicking "you need to do a test because then you'll know for sure" Mia nodded.

Chris was in the morning meeting with Max, Kim and Rachel "has anyone else noticed Amy Porter is acting up again?" Kim scoffed and spoke "Amy's always acting up. It's Josh Stevenson I'm more concerned about. He's been acting weird" Max rolled his eyes "these are kids. They always act weird" Rachel looked over to Max "that's not a nice thing to say" Max had to hide his smirk.

Mia sat in the library thinking when Max came in "I've noticed you look ill. Are you eating?" "Yes"  "then what's wrong?" Max asked. Mia sighed and pretended that Skyler text her "Skyler needs me. I have to go".

Mia walked out and saw Skyler walking towards her  "ready to go into town?" Skyler asked. Mia nodded. What Mia didn't know was that Max was listening to every bit of the conversation. He couldn't work out why they needed to go into town so desperatley.

When Mia and Skyler were in town Mia was panicking "what if the test is positive? How am I meant to have a baby? I'm crap at looking after myself" Skyler smiled "if you are then you tell Max and I'm sure he'll support you" Mia rolled her eyes "yeah right, what guy would want a pregnant teenager tart?".

Max was determined to find the girls in the town but he needed to sort something out first. Tom came into the office "I never properly thanked you for the other night. Letting me see Skyler" Max looked up "it's fine" Tom smiled "have you seen Mia or Skyler today?" Max nodded "briefly".
