Tom and Skyler had been trying for a baby but it hadn't been working, they weren't giving up though. Josh had returned to Tom's and he had apologised to Skyler but Mia wouldn't accept an apology from him.
It was half term and Mia had stayed with Max. He hadn't pressured her into doing anything she didn't want too. Mia had been tempted to tell Chris about her and Max but she knew he would end up killing her and Max.
Skyler had been feeling sick for the last couple of days and she had thought she was pregnant. Part of her hoped she was. Tom had gone into town to buy some stuff and so Skyler text him to pick up a pregnancy test.
Mia and Max were sitting on the sofa watching TV "where does Chris think you are?" Mia smiled "my friends house with Skyler" Max nodded and kissed her.
Tom had returned and handed Skyler the pregnancy test and she went to take it. Tom sat on the bed waiting for Skyler. He hoped the test was positive as he wanted the chance to be a proper dad. He wasn't there for Josh and Chlo and Mika weren't his.
Mia was about to kiss Max when the doorbell rang so Max stood to look out the window "it's Chris" Mia paled and she got her stuff and ran upstairs.
The pregnancy test result was done and Skyler turned the test over

Skyler was heartbroken. She felt like she had let Tom down by not being pregnant. Skyler told him and he was disappointed "we can keep trying. I promise. I love you" Skyler cried into Tom's chest and he held her "I want us to have as many kids as possible" Skyler nodded and kissed him.
Chris had gone so Mia came back down "that was close" Max nodded and pulled Mia into his arms "I love you" Mia smiled "I love you too".
Both couples spent the evening watching TV. Both were feeling happy for the time being but niether had any clue as to how long it would last.
