A Life So Changed {Waterloo Road}

Chapter Six

Skyler had been getting close to Tom. She knew it was wrong to be attatched to a member of staff but she was couldn't help it. He was quite fit.

Mia had been spending a lot of time with Max as he was helping with her problem. Chris had been apprehensive about the amount of time they were spending together. "I think you're spending too much time with Max" Chris said to Mia. Mia rolled her eyes. "I can handle my own problems. I don't need you constantly!" Mia said. She stormed off to find Skyler sitting on the floor. She was wringing her hands in her lap.

Mia sat down beside her "what's wrong?" Skyler sighed "I think I like Mr Ckarkson", Skyler said. Mia was shocked "since when?" Skyler again sighed "I don't know" Mia nodded "explain to me," Mia said. Skyler again shook her head"what's going on with you and Mr Tyler?" Skyler asked her. "He's trying to help me with a problem... My eating problem," Mia said. Skyler hugged Mia and Tom came past them. He smiled. "You two , the bell is about to ring, up to my room for your first lesson," Tom said. Tom grabbed Skyler's arm "can I talk to you later? It's about your depression." Skyler ran as fast as she could towards the girls toilets. She broke down completely.

Mia sat in the classroom waiting for Tom to arrive to begin. When he did Mia noticed Skyler wasn't with him but she said nothing.

Skyler sat the toilets crying. It was getting harder for her to stay at Waterloo Road. All she wanted was to be in one school where no-one knew about her problems.

Mia was doing her work when the door knocked "Tom, I need to borrow Mia" Mia looked up and saw Max so grabbed her stuff and followed him to the office. "Rachel, I need to speak with Mia, in private" Rachel grabbed her stuff and she left. Max turned to Mia and spoke, "how is your eating going?" Max asked. Mia sighed "just leave me alone!" Mia yelled. Max grabbed her arm "don't you dare speak to me like that," Max growled. "What are you going to do about it?" Mia asked. Suddenly, Max kissed her.

Skyler took her little tin box from her bag and got the glass out. After making sure no-one would come in she dragged the piece of glass against her arm, watching as the blood oozed out and feeling a sense of relief.

Tom went looking for Skyler as he needed to apologise to her for making her upset. Tom couldn't find her anywhere. He was about to go and tell Rachel when he heard crying in the toilets so he knocked the door "it's Mr Clarkson" "Go away" Tom sighed "not until you talk to me" "you'll be waiting a long time then".

Mia pushed Max away "why did you do that?" "crap," Max said. Mia sighed loudly. "If we get caught..." Mia said. "We won't get caught," Max said. "You promise?" "Promise," Max told her. Mia grabbed Max by his suit collar and pulled him towards her. She kissed him passionatley.

Tom walked into the girls toilets after putting an out of order sign on the door. "Skyler," Tom sighed. He saw her arm dripping with blood. "I'm scared," Skyler whimpered. Tom didn't know what to do. "I promise, I will help you. Anytime you feel like doing this to your self then please come and find me" Skyler smiled "I don't deserve any help" Tom sighed "everyone does, especially you. If you get like that again then will you come and talk to me?" Skyler nodded.

Things were getting heated between Max and Mia. Mia didn't want it to stop. Max had just sat Mia on the desk while still kissing her and he began unbuttoning her blouse and he spoke "I think I love you," Max mumbled. "A bit early?" Mia asked. Max shook his head . Suddenly Max and Mia began to go further.

Skyler was still cuddled with Tom. Tom was putting pressure on Skyler's arm until the bleeding stopped "Is there anything else you want to tell me? Tom asked Skyler. He wanted her to tell him he that she tried to end her life. "No... Actually, I want to tell you about what I tried to do last week" Skyler said. She knew she could trust Tom enough to tell him about her trying to end her life, "last week, I tried to kill myself. Things were going wrong and I felt like the world would be better off without me. I had the pils all ready and the water".
