Your colleagues were watching you slowly obsess with the case of the Miles County Clown. They were honestly concerned.

After a year passed since the last massacre, you started to lose hope. What was taking him so long? And so he became your main topic of conversation. Every time your colleagues brought up a new crime, you would talk about how it didn't beat Art's crimes. You would start ranting about how stupid other killers were and how they couldn't even compare to... him. They thought you were acting like that because he had attacked you. Maybe you wanted revenge... but they thought it was deteriorating your mental health.

Your colleagues suggested you stopped looking into the case, but you refused to let it go... And then they did something unthinkable. They requested to pass the case to another team of investigators.

Those idiots stripped you from your purpose.

You watched helplessly as the evidence and the security tapes where he appeared were taken away from you. His confiscated weapons were sent to another office as well as the tapes. That day you left work early, just to sit at your home and stare at the clue board once again. You were so happy you kept the meat cleaver, a weapon you secretly took two years ago. The only piece of evidence you could examine now.

It was time to pull yourself together. If you kept acting this way, you were certain the case would never pass through your hands again, so you started to pretend.

If you worked as you did before he came, maybe one day... All of that evidence would be in your hands once again.

That's how your wait turned into solving and investigating other crimes. Easy crimes. All the other killers were complete idiots who left obvious clues and committed boring crimes.

Whenever you arrived home, you took your time to watch the clue board again and to play with the meat cleaver he had now basically gifted you. Sometimes, you took one of his pictures out just so you could look at him closer. You wanted to see him right in front of you... His smile, his eyes, his nose... He was cute. You couldn't deny it any longer.

You were still obsessed with him, but in secret.

Soon another year passed, and once again, he didn't show up. The hope of seeing him again was slowly fading from you. You searched and searched for him when no one was looking. Maybe he left Miles County? Maybe he just gave up after being defeated?

None of those options sounded like your clown, but one thing was clear, you were completely losing your mind. You were stripped from your purpose in any way possible, and after having a taste of a real monster, you were left with nothing but emptiness.

Once the three year mark came, you couldn't stand it anymore.

Maybe it was really time to move on... But there was nothing to move on to. The emptiness was too much to bare.

It was time to create a monster to fill Art's shoes, to fill the emptiness his disappearance left. Something similar, a same concept. A new Art.

And so you decided to become the new Art. A new killer clown, just like him. An artist that displayed gruesome representations of what once was a human body.

First, you had to get supplies. With a disguise, you bought different fabrics, a wig, makeup and a clown nose. Using the fabric, you created a clown costume. You didn't want to fully copy art, so yours was more colorful and looked much more like a jester. Pale light colors were used in different patterns, creating a colorful yet beautiful costume that could perfectly hide any recognizable characteristic that defined you.

You started to investigate more about the human body. Different weapons came to mind, like sharp knifes, tweezers, ropes, tape... And then the idea of a signature came to your mind. Something that made you different from him: a blood extractor.

If your kills were going to be a display, you were going to do it right. You wanted to traumatize whoever came across them, but at the same time, you wanted to cause an impression.

You gathered all of the materials you needed and placed them on a colorful belt that fit with the costume you had prepared.

And one night, once you felt ready, you decided it was time to introduce this new serial killer clown into the picture.

The name you chose was Gummi.

A name that had a sweet tone to it, inspired on candy gummies. A sweet name for an absolute monster.

If Art ever came back, you were sure he was going to be impressed. You hoped this was the start of a new way to get closer to him...

But finding and catching him was no longer your target.

You just wanted to be close to him.
