Find Me (Art x Fem!Reader)

Chapter 9: Art.

Two years went by, five in total since Art had disappeared. Gummi had made sure to keep you entertained during all this time. No one suspected a thing. 

Gummi appeared every now and then. You couldn't be too constant, or you might get careless. Your colleagues seemed tired, and you pretended to be so too. You pretended to be affected by the horrible scenes you left for yourself, but in reality, they were beautiful in your eyes. 

Sometimes you messed around and set up little traps for the police officers that first came into scene. Every now and then, a blood filled balloon would pop right in their faces when they opened the door. Sometimes, the body was hanging right at the entrance to scare them... But your symbol was the blood paintings and the use of almost all of the victim's blood. 

You were brutal, but your heart still longed for one of Art's work. They were special to you. 

Soon, he reappeared. Three cases you saw on the news made you realize he was back. One was about a family that was completely murdered. The culprit had broke in, killed the parents and both of their sons. A plate and a cup was found recently washed. You went to investigate by yourself, just to make sure this was really him... 

And the moment you saw pictures of the bodies, you knew he was finally back. He could finally find out about your own work. You could finally see him again, all you had to do... Was predict his moves before he disappeared again.

The second case was about three murders in a bar. Two victims were shot and one was stripped of his clothes, frozen with liquid nitrogen and then destroyed with a hammer. 

And finally the third... An explosion in a mall that had killed some kids and their parents. Witness said they saw a guy with some sort of clown makeup dressed as Santa handing out presents. 

Art was finally back. 

As soon as you heard about the explosion and what the witnesses had said, you started to try and follow Art's trail... And you knew where to start: Sienna Shaw. You quickly researched and used your status to find out what had happened to her after the attack. You had to predict Art's next stop, which after finding the whereabouts of her and Jonathan it wasn't too hard. Art was sure to leave Sienna for last, so his next stop... Was Jonathan. You had to move quick if you wanted to see him again. 

You wanted him to see the new you. 

You took your car and stopped home to turn into Gummi before you went to see him. You used your usual coat to cover the costume as always and sneaked into the college without drawing too much attention. 

It wasn't hard to do so, everyone was distracted with a party that was going on in the first floor. You looked around and then headed to the next floor, where you suddenly ran into Art, listening to a conversation between two students in his new Santa costume. He didn't seem to notice you, so you hid and listened as well. 

The conversation was between a girl and a boy. They were talking about Art. The girl was expressing her admiration towards him, calling him the most famous killer after Jack the Ripper. Art seemed to enjoy the comments, bragging to himself as he listened. 

You? The conversation was making you feel a little... Jealous. This girl was daring to say she wanted to look into his eyes? She sounded obsessed with him, and no one was more obsessed than you were. You killed to fill in his absence. You admired him. You... liked him. 

It was not fair that he got to listen to her talking about him and not you. You deserved that attention... Oh well. You could always kill the girl if she got in your way. 

You were lost on those thoughts and didn't notice Art had moved. You lost sight of him, but he couldn't be far. You saw as the two teenagers left towards the bathroom doing... teenager shit. Or well starting. Soon enough, you saw Art enter behind them. You quietly followed.
