Find Me (Art x Fem!Reader)

Chapter 30: Good news.

Now that your demon friend was back, it was time to put the plan into action. 

The first step was to break the news to Sienna. Of course you weren't going to tell her the whole thing, like Jonathan being possessed or Gabbie being in the living world again, but you were going to tell her you had a lead and that you had to get her out of the rehabilitation center for now. 

You had a plan for that as well. 

So you drove there and asked to see Sienna as always. You pretended you were extremely happy. 

Well, you were very happy. 

As soon as Sienna opened the door, she noticed that. 

-"Y/n? Hey, I'm so happy to see you! What's up?" She asked, smiling back at you. 

-"I have great news Sienna! I've been searching alone for clues and I found this abandoned warehouse... I made a little investigation on it and after checking a few cameras, I noticed that the night your brother disappeared, they seemed to be headed there." Of course that was a lie. You were flawless and perfect to make sure Jonathan wasn't found at all. "I think that's their hideout or at least that's where they have your brother. I haven't gone to the place because there's no support from my colleagues and that means no support... Besides, I promised you I would get you out of here the moment I found something. I'm pretty sure together we can finally out an end to this nightmare." You spoke quickly, as if you were exited. 

Sienna smiled, her eyes were filled with hope. She was happy this would all finally come to an end and that her brother was alive and well. 

-"That's.. I don't know what to say! Thank you so much for everything..." She said, hugging you tightly. You immediately hugged her back. "There's just one problem... I don't have my sword." 

You separated from the hug to look at her. 

-"True... But you might not need it with that demon gone. I can lend you weapons. Let's just do one step at a time... First, we rescue your brother, then we can worry about your cousin and the sword." You said, giving her another smile to assure her. 

Sienna thought for a moment but then nodded. 

-"Maybe you're right. The other clown is a human and he might be weaker without the demon. We can do this." She said, just as you expected. 

It was so easy to predict people sometimes. 

-"Good. I'll get some papers and do a few things to get you out of here... At least for a few days. That should be enough to rescue Jonathan. It's what I can do for now." You said. 

-"Yeah... Thank you so much again. You're amazing." Sienna said, giving you another hug which you gladly corresponded. 

-"I'll be back later to get you out of here. Make sure to gather your things." You said, waving goodbye at Sienna and heading out of the center to prepare the paperwork to get her out of there. 

You just needed to explain she is a witness in a crime and have the corresponding papers. As an officer, it was easy to do this. 

Everything was going to go as planned. 

You arrived home to prepare the paperwork. Once you finished, you searched around your home for your dear clown. 

As you told him everything, his smile widened and he clapped happily. 

But now it was time for him to go. Sienna had no place to stay so you had to offer her your home and that meant Art couldn't stay there. 

In the end, once Sienna was out of the way, it would all be worth it. 

You explained the situation to Art and he understood, hugging you tightly as you finished. 

He grabbed his bag of tools and then... kissed you goodbye. 

As soon as he was gone, you grabbed the paperwork you had done before and headed to the rehabilitation center again. 

-"Hello yes, as you know I am officer Y/n. I've been visiting Sienna Shaw for the past few months because she is a witness in a case I'm investigating. There's some new founds at the crime scene and I need her there." You explained to the receptionist, handing over a police report and a small false explanation as to why Sienna needed to go there. "I know she isn't precisely well, but this is an urgent matter." 

And with that, after a few minutes of talking with different employees of the place, Sienna was allowed to leave for a few days under your care. 

Everything was now ready.
