Chapter 31: Closer.

You had successfully managed to get Sienna out of the rehabilitation center. The plan was ready to be executed, but you had to wait a little bit... 

At least a day. 

After all, you had promised Sienna some weapons, and you had to make sure they wouldn't turn against you. You would make sure to give her guns with safety or maybe without bullets- or a faulty one that can't shoot. 

She trusted you, so no matter what you gave her, she wouldn't question it. 

And well, you could hand her one in case she wanted to practice or test her and then switch it for the faulty ones when she wasn't looking. 

You had this all under control. 

As soon as they released Sienna from the center, you drove her towards your home. Before taking her there, you made sure there was no clues of your identity as Gummi or of Art's previous stay there. You even hid the clue board and the meat clever. You were not going to take any chances. 

Shaw wasn't the type to snoop, especially if she trusted you, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Every incriminating evidence against you was properly hidden and you made sure it was of hard access. You had it locked and you carried the key with you at all times. 

It was safe. 

If Sienna asked anything, you would say your basement was basically a messy storage room and that you kept it locked in case of robberies or other situations, but she would most likely not suspect anything about it. 

As soon as you arrived to your home with Sienna, you made sure to make her feel comfortable. You gave her something to drink and eat and showed her around. You insisted for her to sleep in your room, but she refused, so you helped her prepare the couch. You made sure to offer tons of blankets and pillows, trying to make the furniture as comfortable as possible for her to sleep in. 

Before deciding to sleep in for the night, you and Sienna made sure to lock all doors and windows well and turned on the alarms, just to make the girl feel safe. Art wasn't going to break in, so you even decided to give her one of your police guns. 

If she wanted to keep it, you had one that looked just like the one you gave for her that you had modified. Everything was calculated. Once moment of distraction is all it was needed to switch it up. 

Since she trusted you, things were much more easier. 

You and Sienna stayed up a little longer talking. 

You weren't that much older than her, but you knew she maybe saw you as an older sister. A person to look up to. 

Sienna cared deeply about you, and that was just perfect. 

After some time, you saw how tired the girl was, so you gave her a hug and wished her a good night, turning off the lights in your living room. You headed upstairs to your room. 

It was empty. 

Oh how much you missed your clown. You looked at your hand, staring at the small plastic ring he had given you. A smile immediately invaded your lips. 

Maybe he missed you too. 

You laid down, but with the plan coming to a conclusion soon, drifting to sleep was awfully hard. 

Hours passed and you were still awake. Sienna was sure to be sleeping by now. 

You had an idea. 

After all, risks were fun right? Besides, your job could always provide some sort of excuse. 

Slowly you stood up, making sure to be as quiet as possible. 

Slowly you made your way downstairs. You checked on Sienna before doing anything, making sure she was asleep. 

She was. 

After that, you made your way to the basement, unlocking and opening the door carefully. 

Your steps were as soft and careful as possible. 

You made your way down the stairs and opened your secret compartment under the floor.

Gummi's costume and makeup were there. You took it out and headed back up, locking the basement door behind you. 

Maybe one last kill before the plan concluded would help you sleep. 

As long as you were careful, taking risks was fun and thrilling.

I'm sososo sorry for the wait! But here is a little chapter as a Christmas present for you guys. 

I'm really close to reaching the end of the story. I have most remaining chapters planned out so I'll try my best to finish them as soon as I can. 

I'm so happy many are enjoying the story.
