The moment your alarm rang, you immediately rushed to turn it off. You didn't want to wake him up.

You had slept like an hour with all of the events of last night, but you had to go to work. The crimes coming in today would definitely be something you wanted to look at.

Your eyes went to the opposite side of the bed. Art was still there completely still.

You got up as quietly as you could and got ready to go to work, not forgetting to disinfect and bandage the wounds from yesterday. You made sure your clothes completely covered them, not wanting to raise suspicion at all. If someone asked you why you were limping, you already had an excuse in mind.

You left home and proceeded to head to the station, ready for pictures of the night to be waiting for you there.

As soon as you got there, your colleagues rushed to tell you the news: Sienna Shaw was attacked again, and this time, not only by the Miles County Clown, but also by Gummi. Your team had to head to the scene immediately. They also mentioned there was another scene at a college, where two teenagers were found dead, but the team who was handling Art's case was taking care of that.

They hadn't realized Gummi was involved in that one too.

So you went back to Sienna's aunt and uncle's home. The place was just as it was last night. You saw as your colleagues looked around and did their best not to puke upon seeing the bodies. You had to hold back a smile.

-"Do we have information on the victims?" You asked, looking at your colleague Glenn.

-"One of them is Greg Shaw and the other is Jessica Shaw, both related to that girl Sienna Shaw. It's weird that she was involved in two crimes right...?" You turned to look at your colleague.

-"Where is she right now?" You asked.

-"At the station, she was taken in for questioning."

As much as Sienna was your enemy, her being in prison would affect the plan to end her. It would be much more trickier. You looked around the room, looking at a blood splatter in the wall. You knew it was Art's. You pointed at it.

-"This seems to be far away from the bodies. Have you tested it? If it doesn't belong to the victims or to Sienna, and if it matches with the register we have of the Miles County Clown, that means she is telling the truth." You explained. Glenn nodded, immediately calling a team to gather the sample.

-"And what about that one over there?" Luka said, pointing at a blood splatter on the floor, near where the stuck chainsaw was. Your blood ran cold as you realized that could be yours. That was where your feet was stabbed.

You couldn't be suspicious.

-"Um... Maybe that belongs to Sienna Shaw. After all, that chainsaw should prove that right? She was probably attacked there." You explained, somehow remaining calm. Your team insisted it should be tested anyway, as Shaw had insisted there were two killer clowns at the scene.

You refused to let that be. It was safe if they took Art's blood for testing, after all, he was not registered in the police data base...

But you? The second that thing was tested, everyone would know you were at the scene. That's why you were always so careful not to leave fingerprints or a single hair.

You even went as far as buying the things for your costume under a fake ID and a disguise, just in case something happened and the material could be tracked back to the store.

You were careless once, and now they were so close to find you.

You watched as the samples were taken. Luckily, it wasn't hard to find out where they would be tested. There was only one laboratory that tested important evidence like that. You had a few hours to do something about it.

As soon as you were free to go, you rushed back home and dressed as Gummi. You were in such a hurry that you didn't notice that Art wasn't there.

Before going anywhere, you chose a random woman and followed her home carefully. This time, you were not planning on killing her. You didn't have time. You just knocked her out and stole some of her blood.

With the same precautions you always took, you headed towards the laboratory where the samples were taken to. You had to wait until they were closed before sneaking in. This had to be flawless. You were careful, dodging the guards and making sure you were not seen. You even sneaked into the security office and put the guard watching the cameras to sleep.

Once you found the samples, you took the one that belonged to you. You had seen how they labeled it when they were taking it, so it wasn't that hard to know which one it was. You carefully cleaned the sample, even adding some hydrogen peroxide to make sure no one could ever tell the first sample was ever cleaned off. After the container was dry and clean, you carefully rubbed the new sample in it and then you placed it back where it was.

Before you left the laboratory, you headed to the security office. You made sure the guard was still knocked out and proceeded to delete the recordings from the hours you were in there, making copies of previous recordings to replace them, so no one would realize something was missing.

You made one last stop before heading home. You sneaked into the crime scene and made sure to clean every blood stain that could be yours, once again using the hydrogen peroxide to leave no trace of it behind. Then you replaced every single one with the leftover blood you took from that woman.

Finally, you could head home and rest... Oh wait, there was actually something better waiting for you there.

Him.

The moment you arrived you noticed all of the lights were off.

Was he still there?

If not... Where did he go?
