You entered your home, closing the door behind you. You let out a tired sigh, ready to get rid of the clown outfit... and telling him all that had happened before going to rest.As much as you were at first terrified of being caught, now that you had flawlessly solved it you felt... thrilled. The thrill of being chased and almost caught was so exciting.
You turned on the lights of the hallway, heading towards your room so you could take the costume off. Something felt... weird though.
As soon as you turned on the lights of the room, you realized Art wasn't there either. You took off the costume and makeup, getting into more comfortable clothes before looking around. You looked in your office, on the laundry room, in the kitchen... But he was not there.
Then you turned on the lights of the living room. The sight almost made you jump, but once you realized what was there... Your heartbeat started going crazy once again.
There was a display there. The dead body of a person, a male. The top of his head was cut open and emptied. Coming out of it, there were roses, stained with blood. His head was basically being used as a flower pot, as it was also filled with water to prevent the flowers from dying. You inspected the body a little closer, seeing different stab wounds and realizing there were missing limbs too. You smiled as you looked down and saw a heart painted with blood in the ground. It was the only stain on the room, meaning the murder itself probably took place elsewhere.
He had made a display just for you.
You were too distracted smiling and giggling at the scene to notice him watching you. You practically jumped when he placed his hand on your shoulder, alerting you of his presence.
It was almost as if he was asking you if you liked it.
You threw yourself into his arms, hugging him tightly as you jumped happily.
-"Oh you did this for me? You didn't have to!" You say, he nodded in response, returning your hug. He was feeding your obsession, and you loved that.
-"And those flowers... Oh they are adorable! Thank you!" You came closer to the body, taking out your phone so you could take a picture and keep this moment forever with you.
You then took out the flowers and turned to look at Art.
-"You... You have to get rid of this and hide the body though... The odor will alert the neighbors and they'll call the cops... I can't be caught, remember?" You told him, sounding a little sad to have to discard the display he made for you. But he understood. Art nodded and got to work, grabbing the body and heading out again to carry it away.
You trusted him enough to know he would avoid the cameras and leave no clue that this body was ever in your home.
Meanwhile, you once again used hydrogen peroxide to clean the blood stain on the floor of the room. Once that was done, you washed the roses and placed them on a crystal flower pot, right under your clue board. He gave you those after all.
Did he like you? No. He just wanted to keep you on the edge of your seat. He wanted to make sure your obsession and your feelings stayed intact.
You were his new partner. He had to made sure you would never leave.
Deep inside you knew that, and maybe it hurt a little, but he gave you attention. He gave you what you wanted from him, what else could you even ask for?
He is a monster. Monsters don't love, they destroy, and he was caring for you instead of destroying you. That was enough.
That was all you needed to forget about his real reason and be happy.
After about an hour he came back. Art noticed the vase of flowers, smiling widely as he stared at it. You noticed him and walked to his side, hugging his arm gently.
You looked at his face, worried that your affection could make him uncomfortable, but he seemed fine with it. He even used his other hand to caress your cheek, making you melt into his touch and close your eyes.
His touch was rough, yet so warm.
Once again, you found yourself laying next to Art on your bed.
You stared at the roof, smiling like an idiot as you thought about all of what he did for you today.
-"Oh right... I forgot to tell you. I have to see Sienna tomorrow." You told him. He turned to look at you.
-"Don't worry. I know what to do."
Destroying Sienna would be the biggest gift you could give him.
Writer:
A little bit of strange weird gory fluff for you guys!
Thank you so much for the support on this story. I'm really trying to make it entertaining and also give it development. I know it took like 10 chapters for something to finally happen but he's a killer clown so- I need to give it development so it feels in character.
I also wanted to justify the feelings of the protagonist, give them development as well and leave it clear that she's not sane and has never been 100% sane.
Thank you for the time and patience. I'll keep doing my best to update daily and give you the best chapters I can.
Love, Melon.
