Art's horn resonated through the bus. The girl seemed terrified, and the driver seemed to be concerned. Art looked at you and pointed at the driver. You nodded, standing up carefully and using the seats as support to limp towards the driver. You sat down and waited for the right moment, looking back at Art to make sure to let him know when you would attack.

Your hand reached to your belt carefully, grabbing your police gun for a quick and easy kill. If it wasn't quick, the guy might make a sudden move, which could cause the bus to crash.

As soon as the bus stopped at a red light, the driver looked back to see what was going on. As soon as he did that, you gave Art a little nod and took out your gun, quickly shooting the guy in his forehead.

Almost immediately, Art took out a hammer from his bag, charging forward and attacking the girl. Art destroyed her legs first before completely bashing her head. He then moved towards the front of the bus, dragging out the body of the driver and getting on the seat himself.

You remained seated. As much as you wanted to play with the dead bodies of your victims, your injuries didn't make it possible. You just had to sit and wait.

Soon you arrived at an abandoned building. Art picked you up again to take you inside. He was so sweet...

But deep inside you knew he just cared about you for convenience.

The place was dirty and full of rats, but it didn't matter, you were with him. He sat you down on a chair that was in front of a desk with different weapons and tools. You looked at them curiously. This was his hideout.

There was also white and black face paint.

You were so distracted by the things on that desk that you almost jumped when you felt a hand on your shoulder. Art silently laughed at your reaction and you gave him a smile.

He had bandages on his hand, and he used them to patch your injured foot.

It was almost as he knew you were obsessed, and he kept feeding that obsession of yours.

You didn't know how much that would help though. If you went back home, you could do much more considering the supplies you had there. You probably needed stitches, but as long as there was pressure on the wound, you could hold up for a few hours without them.

In the meantime, the clown showed you around. There were two bodies around the building, and when you noticed the uniforms they wore, you realized it was just a matter of time before the police showed up to the place. The bodies belonged to some workers of a demolition company. The moment the bosses of the two guys realized they weren't coming back, they would know something was wrong.

The logical thing was to offer your home as a new temporary hideout, even if it meant being extra careful during that time.

Either way, it was better to stay there and rest for a while before moving somewhere else. Using the bus to get to your home wasn't an option, so you had to walk, and in your current state, that would be difficult.

You stayed on the chair he had placed you in, waiting until you felt a little better before suggesting the idea to him. You took the time to admire him as he worked on new weapons. He was so smart.

After a few hours, you stood up. It hurt to move, but it was time to go. You quickly signaled Art about your plan and he agreed.

As expected, it's convenient to have you around.

Before leaving you made sure to register the place with him and take anything that could point out that this place was the hideout of a serial killer. Things could take a turn for the worse if that was discovered.

You then used your usual coat to not draw much attention. It was quite late, that was good, but you never knew if someone saw you both and recognized your descriptions from the news.

You used fabric around to quickly create a disguise for Art as well and then you both were off.

You guided him through, making sure to keep an eye on every camera so you wouldn't be seen.

This was such a perfect excuse to hold his hand, and every now and then you would exaggerate the pain of your injuries just for him to offer you support.

Soon you arrived home and let him in. You practically told him to get comfortable and then ran to take care of your wounds. You first took a shower, getting rid of the makeup and the blood and using the water to clean the area to make sure the injuries wouldn't get infected.

After that was done, you sewed the deep scratches together with the supplies of a first aid kit you had around. You did your best to not cry while you did.

Finally you switched to more comfortable clothes and came back to where you left Art, but he was no longer there. You looked around and then noticed the light to your office was turned on.

Oh shit, the clue board.

You rushed to leave the bloody clown costume in your laundry room and then barged into the room, but as you suspected, it was too late.

He was staring at the board. At your collection of pictures of him and his crime scenes... Some pictures were even just there because he looked cute in your eyes. You wanted to disappear.

-"That's uh... my clue board." You said, clearing your throat. "It never really helped haha... So now it's just... there..." You tried to explain, doing your best to sound calm and not nervous.

Art turned to look at you, smiling teasingly. He didn't believe you... yet it didn't seem like he minded at all.

He simply approached you and grabbed your chin, forcing you to look into his eyes. You felt heat radiating from your cheeks.

He was messing with you.

He then let go and proceeded to exit the room. You turned off the lights and closed the door, taking deep breaths as your head processed what just happened.

-"Anyways... You can take my bed and I can set up something for myself in the couch of the living room. You need to rest well after all, it's been an intense night." You suggested, offering him a gentle smile.

Art tilted his head, almost asking you if you were sure. You simply nodded.

You pointed towards your room and watched as he headed there.

This probably wasn't that comfortable to him and it was risky. You knew you had to find him a new place to hide soon. Maybe his usual hideout could still work once the police investigation was over, all you had to do was make sure no one would attempt to demolish it again.

You started to look for spare blankets and pillows, but before you could set anything up, Art tapped your shoulder and asked you to come over.

Your bed was big enough to fit two people. He was suggesting you shared.

Your heart was going crazy at the thought.

It took a little convincing, but Art kept insisting. You had no option but to give in.

Art seemed to fall asleep easily, staying on his side of the bed and not moving at all. You couldn't even tell if he was asleep or not since he was facing the opposite side.

It took you a while to calm down, but eventually, you closed your eyes.

He was teasing you just to keep you closer and closer, wasn't he?
