Yaoyorozu wasn't sure what she was doing. Grand Torino had told her to stay on the train, but she couldn't; she just couldn't. She ran along the streets, running as fast as she could to the fights when she felt it.

She didn't know what part the other brain managed to notice, but she couldn't tear her eyes away the second she did. She spun on a dime, charging down the alleyway, hopping from building to building as she summoned the staff.

Appearing before Stein, she swung with all her might, throwing the villain away from Iida and landing in front of him. "Iida?! Are you okay? Can you move?"

Yaoyorozu glanced back, but Iida was not making any movements. She was about to grab him and run when she spotted Native, who collapsed against the wall. She was close to saying something unfit of a Yaoyorozu when Iida started to shout. "Yaoyorozu, leave! This has nothing to do with you!"

Yaoyorozu stared at Iida in shock. She wasn't sure what to do or why Iida was even here. "I'm not leaving. I am your fellow Class Rep, and it is my responsibility to look after you all, no matter what is happening or what you are going through. I won't leave you here to die." Yaoyorozu was highly aware she should leave and get an actual hero, but she also knew she couldn't pick up Iida and Native, especially with Iida's armour on. She carefully reached into her belt, doing her best to operate her phone without seeing it.

She had no chance to check it worked when Stein charged forward. Yaoyorozu jumped away, creating a shield and blocking his strike that embedded itself in the material. Yaoyorozu pushed him back before swinging with her pole, missing him as he rushed off. Yaoyorozu didn't hesitate, throwing a flash grenade out and forcing Stein down.

"Iida, we-" Yaoyorozu couldn't finish her thought when she caught a glimpse of the blade flying at her face. She pulled aside, trying to move fast enough, but she couldn't. The blade cut along her cheek as Yaoyorozu sent out a flick of power, pushing Stein back.

"It's been fun; you're certainly well trained; I might even let you live," Stein joked as he picked up his blade. "But for now, I can't have you getting in my way." He licked the blood as Yaoyorozu felt her limbs turn to lead. She dropped to the ground, unable to do anything. She struggled, trying to move just one limb, but they wouldn't cooperate. Native was going to die. Iida was going to die. She was likely going to die! And there was nothing she could do about it.

She couldn't even see Iida from where she was, but she heard him screaming in pain. There had to be a way to win, but she couldn't find it. As she was about to give up, sending mental apologies to her family and All Might, the air suddenly got hotter.

"You know Yaoyorozu, if you want our help, you should give more detail," Izuku joked, standing next to Todoroki, who was creating a wall of fire between them and Stein.

"We almost didn't get here in time," Todoroki finished as Yaoyorozu let out a sigh of relief.

"Todoroki! Midoriya! Don't let him get your blood."

"You got it," Izuku laughed before he turned his attention to Iida.

"Todoroki, Midoriya, get away. This has nothing to do with you," Iida shouted as Todoroki and Izuku shared a look.

"You're being dumb, Iida. Why would we leave?" Izuku grinned as Iida gritted his teeth.

"You don't understand. This doesn't involve you."

Izuku walked towards Iida, squatting in front of the distressed teen. "You know, that kind of defeats the point of being a hero. If I wanted to let people die, I wouldn't have got very far. You're hurt. I get it. I saw Emiko and Charlie nearly tear down a city for me when I got hurt. I didn't want them to do it, though. Kakashi understood that, and he stayed by my side. If Emiko or Charlie had been hurt avenging me, I would have hated it. I'm sure your brother's the same. It's the way most siblings are. So, I think it's time you stop thinking about yourself and remember who you wanted to be."

"Besides, we can't carry all of you," Todoroki added as Izuku nodded.

"I am really weak when it comes to physical strength, and his ice ain't gonna do anything." Izuku grinned as Iida shifted. He couldn't find the word.

"Look out," Yaoyorozu's warning came in time for Todoroki to pull himself to the side, but it wasn't fast enough to avoid the knife stabbed into his arm.

"Well, shit," Izuku muttered as Yaoyorozu struggled.

"Don't let him drink your blood."

Izuku shifted, turning into a sphinx as he created spikes all around them, stabbing Stein, who dodged. He ran past Izuku without a second thought. He grabbed the knife from Todoroki, licking it as he fell to the ground.

Izuku stared in shock, digging his claws into the ground as Stein turned around to face him. "Really want to go toe-to-toe with me?"

Stein tutted in annoyance. "You're getting in the way."

"Yeah, that's my thing." Izuku charged as Stein stepped back, pulling out a small blade and throwing it at Izuku, who easily dodged. Izuku jumped on him, pushing him to the ground as he tried to mould the Earth around Stein.

"Midoriya, be careful," Todoroki shouted as Izuku scoffed.

"Obviously!" He let out a yelp as Stein threw him off, pulling himself out of the ground. Izuku sent more spikes at Stein, who pushed himself forward, running at terrifying speeds as he raised his swords. As he struck down, Izuku shifted back to human, the smaller form barely dodging the blade with only a few lost hairs.

He scuttled out of the corner, black scales covering his arms as he raised his hand, spending a spiral of fire at Stein, who jumped away and charged at Izuku. Izuku stumbled back, trying to dodge as he felt the cold metal slice across his cheek, hitting the scales, but they weren't frequent enough to stop it completely.

"This is over." Stein held the blade as Izuku shifted, the black scales disappearing as Gryphon wings spread out. Izuku sent a wave of air, but it was too late. It dissipated before it even got to Stein as Izuku fell to the ground.

No one could do anything as Stein walked past them and turned his attention back to Iida.
