Part 59~Civilians

The city shook as Emiko caught the falling building. "Master, get the people out!"

Charlie blinked, staring at Emiko. "You used my hero name?!"

"Charlie! Hurry up! This building is heavy."

Charlie slapped her cheeks, shaking her head before holding up her hands. People started floating out of the building, some hurt and injured, others just scared. Kakashi shook his head as he evaporated a rock, pinning a civilian to the ground. "We need to hurry up. The fight is only going to get worse from here on out."

"We're going as fast as we can," Izuku hissed as he and Shoto carried an injured couple to a group of civilians huddled in a chalk circle.

Charlie took a deep breath. "Alright, get close. This isn't gonna be pleasant." Charlie held up her hands before the people disappeared.

"Teleportation," Yaoyorozu gasped as Emiko shook her head.

"Officially, it's called displacement. She swaps the atoms in one location with the ones in another," Emiko explained as Shoto frowned.

"What's the difference?"

"Teleportation only moves your own atoms. That's how you get squished by accidentally teleporting into a wall or something. With displacement, the parts of the wall are moved to their original location. Wouldn't stop you suffocating as you wouldn't have any oxygen, but you'd be found whole." Izuku grinned as Iida and Yaoyorozu gave him a horrified look. "Don't worry. Charlie practised with this Quirk a lot. Let's fill the circle up again."

Kirishima held his breath as he moved around the rubble. He ducked down and glanced over his shoulder. He regretted it immediately. He could see AFO and the destruction he had caused alongside all the members of the LOV.

On the other side was the Nomu-Katsuki.

Shigaraki stood up, staring at AFO as All Might crashed through the city. Kirishima went quiet, praying AFO didn't spot him as he talked to Shigaraki.

"Don't you worry? It'll take more than that to kill him. Get off the battlefield, Tomura. And take that Nomu with you. I can't have it falling back into the hands of the nuisance." Red spikes spread out of AFO's fingers, stabbing into Kurogiri's body. "Kurgiri, warp them away."

"Be careful," Magne shouted. "One of the heroes messed with him, and he's unconscious. I'm not sure what's going on, but if you can teleport, why don't you get us out of here?"

"My warp power is still new, Magne. There is much I need to learn about it. Its distance is limited, and while he can teleport to specific coordinates, I only transport people to and from my own location. Or with focus, to or from someone I am very familiar with. That is all. It's easier to have Kurogiri do it."

The wind picked up before a portal opened before the league.

"Forcible Quirk Activation. Leave this place."

Kirishima gulped as he stared at the portal. If the league got the nomu-Katsuki through that, there is no saying how long it would take to find him again. By that time, Katsuki would probably be full nomu. Kirishima wasn't even sure they could bring Katsuki back now, he didn't want to find out their odds if Katsuki was full nomu.

Kirishima couldn't think anymore before All Might jumped at AFO. AFO lifted himself into the air, catching All Might's hand. Power burst out from the fight as Mr Compress stepped away and kneeled at Dabi's side. "Let's go, Shigaraki. While our masked lead is keeping All Might entertained, take your gift." Mr Compress turned Dabi into an orb before the group turned to the nomu.
