No matter how hard Katsuki tried, his brain kept returning to those memories. He was just a kid, only 4 years old. He, Izuku and their old friends, Tsubasa, Hashiga and Tesaki.

"I'm bored; when is your mum coming to get us," Hashiga complained, lying on the playground floor.

"I don't know. She should be here," Izuku muttered, leaning against the rope of the swing.

"Calm down. It's not Izu-chan's fault," Katsuki snapped. "We should just go home by ourselves. It's not like we don't know the way."

"Yeah," Tsubasa laughed. "And with us here, I'm sure we can handle any situation that comes at us!"

The little group of friends cheered as they got up. Izuku hid behind Katsuki quietly as Katsuki sighed, patting his head. "You should stand up for yourself more, Izu-chan."

"I can't help it. I'm not confident like you."

"Nah, only I'm this great, but you're my second. Can't have you crying at the first sign of trouble."

Izuku laughed before the group started to follow Katsuki as he started to sing.

"Forward. March, and here we go. Members of the Agency Bakugo."

Izuku rolled his eyes. "You shouldn't call us that. I, for one, have no plans of working under you."

Their other friends let out an 'ooh!' as Katsuki scoffed.

"You expect me to work for you."

"Maybe. You said for me to stand up for myself."

"And Izu-chan actually has a quirk," Hashiga joked as the other two nodded.

Izuku blushed a little. "It's not that impressive."

"You kidding?! You could be a wicked hero with your quirk. Controlling every fire around you." Tsubasa made dramatic hand movements as Izuku laughed.

"It's not that strong. Besides, I'm sure Kacchan will have an even more amazing Quirk."

"Hell yeah, I will!" Katsuki grinned as Tsubasa gave him a look.

"My grandpa says Quirks comes from parents, even minutely. I don't see how having perfect skin will help being a hero."

Katsuki gritted his teeth. "Quirks can mutate! Look at Izu-chan. His mum has nothing to do with fire, and his dad can only make it."

"But still, pyrokinesis makes sense when those abilities are combined," Hashiga muttered as Katsuki gritted his teeth more.

"Ignore them, Kacchan. They're just being mean."

"So, does this mean you'll be in my agency?"

Izuku seemed to think. "Depends on if you're the number one hero."

And like that, Katsuki's confidence was back. "You know I will be! Let's keep going."

Izuku laughed, sharing a look with their other friends as they marched through town.

As they walked past an alleyway, they heard Tesaki scream.

"Tesaki," Tsubasa called out as the boy was pulled into the alleyway. Another person grabbed Hashiga, pulling him in too.

Izuku gasped in shock and horror while Katsuki charged. He ran into the alleyway fearlessly like only a child could. "What are you doing?!

The two thugs in the alleyway held something over the boys' faces as they fell unconscious. "I still don't know about this," one hissed to the other.
