Part 53~Disguises

The group left the hospital.

"Yaoyorozu," Iida called out, making the girl stop. "I shouldn't have hit you back there. I'm sorry. Forgive me." Iida bowed as Yaoyorozu stared in shock.

"It's quite alright. No need to apologise."

"I have concerns," Izuku interrupted as Shoto gave him a soft look.

"We are aware."

Izuku scoffed fondly. "What I mean is, what's with the sudden change of heart?"

Iida stood back up. "To be clear, I'm coming because I don't condone your behaviour. It's as simple as that. If there's even a hint that physical combat might break out, I'll make you retreat immediately. So, in other words, I'm your watchman." Iida pointed at Yaoyorozu as she jumped.

Izuku laughed. "That makes two of us." He gave Shoto a pointed look as he looked away. "Who knew Iida and I had such similar minds?"

Kakashi sighed. "If you want to get there, we shouldn't stand on the road talking about this."

"Right." The group rushed on as Izuku looked at Kakashi.

"Are you sure you want to do this? You could get your licence revoked."

Kakashi smiled, roughing Izuku's hair. "I'm sure. Say, do you remember why I chose to be a hero?"

Izuku shrugged. "Something about keeping Charlie and I in line."

Kakashi laughed. "I want to protect you guys. You keep doing dumb stuff while I stand on the sidelines. Charlie is my sister, whether I want her to be or not. I will keep her safe." Kakashi sighed. "You too. You're practically my brother. I want to keep you safe."

Izuku grinned. "Aww, and don't worry, soon we'll be brothers-in-law."

Kakashi sighed. "I think you're more likely to have married the Endeavour kid before those two dare say they're in love."

Shoto blinked, whipping his head around as he blushed. Izuku coughed, blushing, and Kakashi smirked. "Let's go, kiddo."

"You're mean."

"I know."

The group sat on the train, watching the tracker. "The coordinates indicate Camino Ward, Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture," Yaoyorozu stated, feeling Hitachi watching over her shoulder.

Opposite her, Kirishima and Iida sat together while Izuku, Shoto and Kakashi all watched from across the gap.

"Our travel time will be about two hours from here. We should arrive around ten o'clock tonight." Yaoyorozu paused, looking at Hitoshi. "Did you tell the rest of the class about this? Do they know what we're doing tonight?"

"Yes. And they tried their best to talk us out of it."

"Yeah, even Uraraka ganged up on us and tried to get us to change our minds," Kirishima added as Hitoshi nodded.

"Plus, Jiro snapped at us for asking you at all."

Momo smiled at that.

"Just to make sure," Shoto announced, startling the other group. "You know we're going against everyone's wishes and being completely selfish by doing this. We can call this off if we want to."

"Does it look like I wanna turn back? Bakugo wouldn't think twice about going after the villains if he were here," Kirishima shouted as Izuku snorted.

"You think he would learn after getting kidnapped a second time."
