Izuku remembered his time with AFO. Well, not really, but he remembered some things. He remembered he was with Katsuki when he was kidnapped. He remembered waking up separate from Katsuki, and he remembered the odd girl sitting across from him.
"Where am I?"
The girl tilted her head. "Am I where?"
"What?"
The girl laughed. "You've got green hair."
"Yeah?"
"So cool. Even with Quirks, most people in England have brown hair. It's boring." The girl glared at her own brown hair.
"England?!"
"What? Oh- no, we're not in England, Greenie. I'm just from England."
"Oh. Where are we?"
"We are where?"
Izuku frowned. She was no help.

Izuku wished he could curl up as the pain started to subside. Most of the other kids were in a similar situation, none wanting to move and risk the shocks of agony.
The only one who didn't seem to care was that girl. She kicked her feet out under her, humming under her breath.
"Why are you so happy?"
The girl gave Izuku an odd look. "I'm meant to be leaving today. I can go home. Find mum." The girl grinned so brightly it almost floored Izuku.
Inko flashed in Izuku's mind as he bite his lip. He wanted his mum. "I hope you find her."
"I will. I just know it."

The next time he saw the girl, her attitude had completely changed. She was tied back up in her chair as the doctor ruffled her hair.
When he walked off, Izuku gave the girl a worried look. "What happened?"
The girl looked at Izuku. "I'm not allowed to go home. I'm not done."
"Done?"
"Done. My Quirk isn't done. I can't go home until it is."
Izuku got a bad feeling in his stomach. "They're changing our Quirks?"
The girl blinked, water falling down her cheeks. "He just wants my Quirk. He's gonna turn me into one of those things, I heard his thoughts. If he knows- he's gonna kill me."
Izuku wanted to give her a hug.
"He's not going to let me go home. I want my mum."

Izuku watched the doctor pull a kid out of the lab before he turned to the girl. "What happens when we're done?"
The girl gave him a look. The light had not returned to her eyes. "He changes you."
"Changes us? Into what?"
"Nomus. They're not human. Slaves for my father. You get no free will. You're just a tool for his use."
Izuku lowered his head. "Kacchan... I hope he's okay. If he was here, he would say something like, 'I won't let that psycho change you'."
The girl didn't say anything.
"I don't want to change." Izuku looked at the IV push in his arm. "I wonder, if I rip it out, would I bleed to death before he found me?"
The girl chuckled. "It wouldn't matter. He's made Nomus from the dead before."
