Part 40~The Beast Forrest

Kaminari stared up at the cliff face awkwardly. "Do you think they're coming?"

Uraraka shrugged as Hagakure looked over Sero and Koda. Out of nowhere, Hitoshi was thrown over the wall. Ojiro jumped up, catching him and bringing him to the ground. "What's going on?"

Hitoshi gave him a sound as he looked up in time to see Katsuki being thrown off. He let out a small explosion, catching himself before he landed. "Should we go back up?" He glanced at Hitoshi as he sat up.

"Unless you want Aizawa to get even angrier, probably not."

Izuku flew over the edge next, shifting into a Griffin and catching himself in the air. He looked up as if questioning whether to try again when Shoto climbed over the railing. Izuku caught him and brought him to the ground. "Well, that was annoying." Izuku turned to face the forest as he shifted back into a human form.

"What the hell, you could have warned us about that?!" Kaminari crossed his arms hotly as Jiro nodded.

"You just let us get kicked off."

Izuku huffed. "You could have saved yourselves."

"Are they really making us walk through the forest," Uraraka questioned as Izuku grinned.

"You're welcome to go back up and try and fight to the bus." No one tried climbing the cliff. Izuku sketched his arms, walking towards the forest. It was dark, and almost no sunlight was visible from the tree tops.

Izuku glanced around, trying to listen to the forest before he held out his hand, stopping the class from getting closer.

"Is something wrong?" Shoto tilted his head, getting closer as Izuku nodded stiffly.

"Something is in there." Izuku paused, looking around the forest before he shifted, becoming a sphinx and closing his eyes. His ears twitched as the class drew closer, sharing a confused look. Suddenly, Izuku jumped up, pushing Shoto out of the way as an animated pile of mud shot at them.

Landing far away from the beast, Izuku grinned. "It's Pixie's monster. They're made of earth and a real nightmare." Charging at the monster, Izuku jumped at it, turning it to sand and pushing it away.

"Woah, that's amazing," Sero cheered as Izuku huffed, ignoring him.

Katsuki frowned, his palms sparking as he looked through the trees. "We're not done yet." More monsters crashed through the forest as Kirishima sheepishly looked at Izuku.

"Thing, can you do that a couple more times?"

Izuku gave him an annoyed look before digging his claws into the dirt. "You shouldn't rely on me."

"What should we do? Run away," Mina looked around in fear as Shoji shook his head.

"This is no joke."

"If we don't make it to the facility by noon, then we don't get lunch," Sato pointed out in horror.

"Then we have no choice but to get through here and take the shortest route," Yaoyorozu announced as the class made their way into the forest.

"There are three up ahead," Shoji announced as his arms grew out of ears and eyes. "Two each on either side."

"Seven total. They're coming," Jiro shouted, taking her earphone jack out of the ground.

SEro charged, wrapping his tape around the incoming beast's neck. Sato and Kirishima charged in after punching their way through the beast.

Tokoyami activated a dark shadow, attacking the other while Ojiro whacked it with his tail. Aoyama charged his laser, finishing the beast off.
