Part 61~Splitting the Media

Endeavour landed on the rubble, finding the battle over and All Might and Torino standing around a lava pit. "What the hell is going on here?!"

All Might turned. "Why'd you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Just teleport a few meters."

Endeavour frowned in confusion. "What the hell are you talking about?"

Gran Torino's eyes narrowed. "You were just here. You defeated AFO."

Endeavour blinked. "I was not here, and I have not fought in this fight."

"He tells the truth," Edgeshot stated as he landed with Kamuli Woods. "That mastermind sent Nomus to the bar. Endeavour fought with us."

All Might frowned in confusion as Gran Torino sighed. "I suspected as much. Whoever helped up wasn't the real Endeavour. It was someone using his identity."

"What now?" Endeavour blinked in confusion as Gran Torino nodded.

"Likely so whoever it was wouldn't get arrested for vigilantism."

All Might sighed in defeat, sitting down. "Oh, thank goodness. I was completely re-organising my opinion of you, and it was not fun." All Might paused; his energy had been rejuvenated, but he didn't have much time. "Gran Torino."

"I can handle this. Go."

All Might run off. As he disappeared from sight, a thought rang in his mind. If Endeavour wasn't Endeavour, who has Bakugo?

Emiko put Charlie into a cornered-off hospital room as Kakashi talked to the staff. "Her body is completely dissolving in there. If anything disturbs her, she won't come out alive."

"Understood. We'll guard the room."

"Thank you. Take care of my sister for me." Kakashi paused. "Emiko, we should go."

She sighed before she nodded. "I know."

"Where are you going?" Kirishima frowned as Kakashi sighed.

"We helped evacuate a large number of civilians, but even so, a huge number are still trapped. The full rescue will probably take days. Almost everyone spare is going to be called in."

"Plus, we got to tell our bosses that we totally didn't ignore their orders to stop fighting villains in the streets," Emiko laughed as Kakashi sighed deeply.

"I'm going to be put on desk duty again."

"Just be glad he's not threatening your job."

Heroes surrounded the destroyed city, doing everything to find the hurt civilians. The indestructible cocoons had protected civilians, but they were still hurt from before the cocoons were put in place.

News reporters surrounded the outskirts of the fight. "The heroes began rescue operations during All Might and Endeavour's fight, but the scope of the damage is staggering. Authorities are estimating a large number of casualties. The villain who caused this is- there. He's being led into the maiden right now. Meanwhile, Endeavour and the other heroes remain on high alert. All Might has disappeared shortly after the attack, most suspecting his severe injuries being the cause."

Izuku sighed, turning the TV off. His phone was ringing. Tsukachi was trying to contact him. He turned his phone off.

Shoto frowned, tilting his head. "What's wrong?"

Izuku sighed, leaning against Shoto's shoulder. "I think he knows Charlie was pretending to be Endeavour, but since Charlie just dissolved her phone, it's probably registered as out of service."
