How Long Will I Love You

The day was coming to a close at the nursery when the phone rang. Siobhan picked up the receiver, "Good evening the Knight Nursery, Siobhan speaking how may I help you?" The blonde was surprised by the voice that greeted her, "Bon I've been held up at work. I'll be there as quickly as I can. I know you've all got staff training tonight." Siobhan could hear the panic in her partner's voice. The blonde tried to calm her partner and offered her reassurance, "Angel it's okay I'll keep him with me in the office until you get here." Siobhan heard Viv breathe a sigh of relief, "Thank you Bon. I'll be there as soon as I can. I love you." Siobhan smiled to herself "I love you too Angel. I'll see you soon." The blonde hung up the receiver. As Siobhan stood to leave the office Marjorie called after her, "Siobhan, where are you going? We've got training, remember?" The blonde turned back towards the office, "I'm coming back. I have to collect Jamie. Viv has been held up. I will be keeping him in the office with me so the training can start, and I will join as soon as Jamie is collected." Siobhan and Jamie walked into the office a short while later, sitting at her desk, the blonde lifted the small boy on to her lap, "Now little monkey, would you like to do some colouring?" Jamie looked at the blonde and smiled, "Yes please, mumma Bonnie." Marjorie clasped her hands over her mouth, "Siobhan did he just .. did he ... oh my god. Siobhan, he's called you mumma Bonnie. It's so... it is just so lovely. I ..." Siobhan looked up at the brunette just as her eyes began to fill with tears, "Oh for god sake Marjorie pull yourself together." Marjorie fanned her eyes trying to hide her tears of joy, "I'm not .. I'm not crying .... There's just something in my eye that's all." There was a moment of silence between the two women when suddenly they were interrupted by the doorbell sounding. Marjorie dabbed her eyes before excusing herself. Siobhan settled Jamie at her desk colouring while she finished the daily paperwork. Once all paperwork was completed, Siobhan began browsing through hotels as she was planning a weekend getaway for her and her princess. The blonde found and booked the perfect hotel.

Siobhan was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of Jamie's voice, "Mumma Bonnie I've finished. I did a picture of me, you and mummy." The blonde lifted the small boy on to her lap, "Oh wow, little monkey that's really good." Siobhan hugged Jamie as she kissed the top of his head. Siobhan heard familiar footsteps approaching and her mind floated back to the memories of the meetings. Siobhan was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of Viv's voice, "There they are. My two favourite people," the blonde looked up towards the doorway where the dark-haired woman was stood, "Hello Angel." Siobhan lifted the small boy from her lap down to his feet, as he was eager to get to his mum to show off his artwork, "Mummy, look what I drew." Jamie ran into Viv's waiting arms. "Have you had a good day little man? What have you got there?" Jamie showed Viv the drawing he had made. Siobhan's heart filled with adoration for the small boy as he showed off his picture. Viv walked over snaking her arms around the blonde's neck, "Thank you for keeping him occupied Bon." Siobhan stood from her chair before turning into the dark-haired woman's embrace with a smirk on her face, "It's not an issue, I'll be sure to add the late fee on to your next bill." Siobhan gently kissed Viv as she caressed her cheek. Leaning into Siobhan's hand, Viv chuckled to herself, "That's okay because it will be you who pays the bill." The two women laughed amongst themselves Viv looked at her watch briefly, "Jamie go get your stuff. That's it, good boy." The small boy collected his things ready to leave. Siobhan walked Jamie and Viv out to the car. The blonde lifted the small boy into his seat, "Okay little monkey, mumma Bonnie will be home soon. Be a good boy for mummy." Jamie nodded at the blonde, "Okay mumma Bonnie." Siobhan closed the door softly before turning round towards the dark-haired woman, "I'll be home as soon as I can," the blonde placed a gentle kiss upon Viv's lips before heading back into the building.

Siobhan headed to the bathroom to freshen up before going into the meeting and quickly pulled her phone from her pocket to tap out a message to Marjorie, "don't make any plans this weekend princess. I've booked us a weekend getaway in London. x." Siobhan stowed her phone back in her pocket and headed back down to the meeting room. The blonde quietly entered the meeting room sitting down opposite the brunette noticing a small smile on her face. Siobhan pulled her phone from her pocket once more noticing a reply from her princess, "sounds wonderful. Tell me more. x." Siobhan tried to hide the smile appearing on her own face as she tapped out her response. "I've booked us a lovely hotel in the city centre with gorgeous views. The room has a private garden with a log fire and hot tub included. x." The blonde hit send before laying her phone on her lap. Siobhan glanced across the table toward the brunette, as she picked her phone up, noticing the smile on her face. Siobhan watched in anticipation as Marjorie tapped away at her phone, suddenly the blonde felt her phone vibrate in her lap. Picking up her phone from her lap the blonde smiled to herself at the response illuminated on the screen. "Looking forward to it sweetheart. What else will we be doing? I assume we won't be staying in the hotel suite all weekend ;) x." Siobhan glanced across the table at the brunette. Both women shared a knowing look, before Siobhan begun tapping out a response to her princess "as perfect as that would be princess. I think maybe we could find some time to get out on some excursions. Maybe some shopping, sightseeing or a show? X." Siobhan tapped the send button before once again placing her phone in her lap. Siobhan glanced across the table at Marjorie as she began to smile. The blonde watched her intently as she tapped out her reply. After a few moments Siobhan felt her phone vibrate in her lap. "That all sounds amazing sweetheart. I would love if we could go and see My Fair Lady. I've always wanted to see it on the west end x." Siobhan quickly searched all the theatre sites, looking to make her princess's one wish come true for their weekend getaway. After a few minutes of meticulous searching the blonde found the theatre that was showing My Fair Lady. Siobhan booked a private box, because nothing but the best would do. The blonde tapped out a final message to the brunette "I'll pick you up from home after work on Friday evening princess. X." Siobhan hit send before stowing her phone back in her pocket. Throughout the rest of the training, the blonde and the brunette kept stealing fleeting glances from across the table.
